What a compete nonsense list. You are just trying to find ways to keep Cincy out.

I've really had enough of hearing that you think on field results matter, this list proves you just care about the eye test.

@roaminglion  I watched most of the Cincinnati game and I’m telling y’all they ain’t no top 5 team. I understand y’all like the underdog but they are not a top 5 team. I saw that Oklahoma St jumped to 5th and if they win the big 12 I believe they’ll jump Cincinnati if Alabama beats Georgia because Georgia won’t drop past 3rd if they lose unless they get blown out which I don’t see happening.

So again, stop saying results on the field matter to you. You keep saying "just win baby", but then it's all "Cincy doesn't LOOK like a top 5 team".

Alabama will not get in over Cincy with two losses. It will not happen. Cincy may even be ranked ahead of them in the CFP rankings on Tuesday. Here is what the ranking will look like:

  1. Georgia
  2. Michigan
  3. Alabama or Cincy
  4. Alabama or Cincy
  5. Oklahoma State or Notre Dame

There is no way in heck that Alabama stays in the top 4 if they lose to Georgia while Michigan, Cincy, and Oklahoma State win. Zero chance. I know everyone likes to wax poetic about how great Alabama is, and give them every chance in the world to make it even when they lose, but enough. Stop it. I don't care about their recruiting stars or their past results. They lost, move on.

I am not convinced a 1 loss SEC champ Bama belongs in ahead of a 1 loss Notre Dame or 1 loss Big 12 champ...Bama has showed me NOTHING...

Bama has already beaten a current top 10 team, and if they are a 1 loss champion it means they beat #1 Georgia.

Notre Dame lost to the only currently ranked team on their schedule. Come on now.

How does Bama win the eye test? Teams that lost their non conference games gave them trouble all year...I don't see any improvement from them as a team...Again if they beat Georgia what does that prove? Who did Georgia beat this year? Clemson, UAB, Charleston Southern and Georgia Tech was their out of conference schedule...I will say it again...How good is the SEC this year? Do the out of conference losses even matter? Look at the top of the B1G standings...All of the losses these teams have with the exception of Ohio State losing to Oregon were in conference...

Stop, this is a ridiculous argument. You constantly do this with SEC teams while overlooking the same exact thing with everyone else. Who did Michigan beat this year? Ohio State? Who did they beat? See how easy that is?

Come on now... Ole Miss is 10-2 and Georgia is 12-0, they are obviously good teams. Notre Dame's biggest win is over an 8-4 Wisconsin team that just lost to Minnesota.Good win, yes. But that is the best team they beat, not impressive. Most of the teams on ND's schedule we at or below .500, it is an obvious soft schedule.

Bama beat some good teams, but yes they struggled against some bad teams. That is why I would have them currently #4. But to say they would beat the unanimous #1 and that still wouldnt "show you something"? Sorry bro but you just hate the SEC... LOL

So, ask yourself this SPF. Do you see OK St beating Ohio State or Bama? That’s a resounding no. Same for ND. ND gets smoked by both. Oklahoma State is fun to watch and I was pulling for them last night, but they play in a conference that is notorious for soft defenses. Cincy plays defense. That’s Fickell’s forte. If they finish undefeated, and are ranked in the top 4, they deserve a spot and a chance in the playoff. They will have checked off every box that was asked of them.

And how good are they? What makes their schedule so impressive? They are in the same league as Bama is...Why would a one loss conference champ from that league deserve to be in ahead of a 1 loss conference champ from the B1G or Big 12 or Notre Dame?

I already told you... Notre Dame should have joined a conference then, because they dont play a title game and beat zero ranked teams. Their schedule sucked, the majority of teams they played were .500 or worse. Lost to THE ONLY ranked team they played

Has Alabama struggled at times? Yup. But it's hard to say that as a reason with a straight face when ND also struggled against the likes of Florida State, Virginia Tech, and Toledo. In other words, neither team can say the other struggled because they both did. Had ND not struggled against those teams, they may have been able to overcome a soft schedule.

Quite simply Alabama beat currently ranked teams. Period. Notre Dame didnt. Say whatever you want about rankings are biased, the SEC is this or that, blah, blah, blah... The Big Ten beat zero, zilch, nada, ranked teams OOC and you keep saying we are the best conference. So... what is that based on?????

Sorry FD, but I respectfully disagree on this. ND’s schedule is SOFT. Charmin soft. They started the season with a OT game against a pathetic FSU team. They struggled with Toledo. They played their annual service academy game. Outside of the Cincinnati game (which they lost) what team on their schedule had a pulse this year? They cherry pick ACC games and play ACC doormats every year and add in PAC 12 softies too. In addition, they arrogantly and greedily won’t join a conference so they won’t have a conference championship game on their soft resume, so no, they don’t deserve a playoff spot.

If Bama wins next week they will get in with UGA, Michigan and Cincy. If UGA or Iowa win then the door is open for Ok State and, unfortunately, ND. If so, I hope ND draws UGA first.

I would love to see that. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Iowa beat them next week, which would turn the playoff on it’s head and the B1G would not get a team in. I want to see ND left out and have to play a pissed off Ohio State team in a NY6 bowl game. It would be a lambasting of the Irish.

My hope is that the favorites hold serve and the CFP is #1 Georgia vs. #4 Oklahoma State, and #2 Michigan vs. #3 Cincinnati.

3 teams who have never been there before, and 1 team that has only been there once. New blood. Would love Cincy to beat Michigan in that scenario too. Also, as you said ND gets left out 🤣🤣🤣

@southern-psu-fan Maybe. But Michigan and Harbaugh struggle with Iowa usually. It’ll be a throwback physical game for sure. UGA looks like the best team in the land, but Saban will have something to say about that. Regardless, UGA is making the playoff, win or lose next week.

@lionbacker99 I agree 99, I’m with you I just forgot to post it, I hope Michigan gets beat and the big 10 gets left out. Michigan winning the big 10 doesn’t help Penn St so I hope they lose and Georgia winning the NC doesn’t help GT so that’s where I stand lol
