Who gives a crap about the Tide, Baby!!!!!
1 less defeat and a little better showing against tOSU, the Nittany Lions would be #4.
Be nice if we get invited to the Rose Bowl. Win the Rose bowl and finish 5 in the country. Head into next year with some experience win the Big Ten. And get into the playoffs
Worthy wish. 2020 looks to be special. Several top draft eligible guys have indicated they will not enter the draft. The road to being king of the 2020 hill begins when PSU plays in their bowl game.
Question, what is so great about the Rose Bowl? What benefit does it have for the team football wise over any of the other non CFP bowls. Yea I get it, the kids get better swag bag and the school probably gets more money but from a football perspective what’s the big deal and what does it do for them as a team?
I'm surprised at you guys, Southern & Navy! Did you forget that Keith Jackson called the Rose Bowl the "Grand Daddy of them all". Whoa Nelly, LOL!
Nope didn't forget Bob! Back in the day before BCS, CFP all of that, yea I get that the Rose was a big deal. But present day what's big deal about the Rose Bowl as opposed to the Orange, or Sugar bowl? What is the fancy with the Rose? Me personally, as a PSU fan and living on the east coast I would rather see them in the Orange as it is a lot cheaper to travel to and Calif sucks in my opinion based on 9 years of living in that state!
Just trying to figure out what I am missing about all this Rose bowl wishing and hoping.
I know what you're saying, Navy. I agree 100%. I was just sharing some Keith Jackson nostalgia with you guys!
