Gut feeling is all but believe they promote within. D has had far less issues then O side. Heck considering numbers (agree crunch time is issue) D has put up with a below average O last few years hard to argue it needs an overhaul. Consistency would be okay with me on that end.

I was actually thinking the same thing earlier today, then the notion that since Pry was also linebackers coach, I though getting Sean Lee to coach LB's would make this adjustment just fine!

Cowboys are pushing hard for him to be their LBs coach, and I'd bet they will offer him a boat load of money to do it. He has lived there for a while, and reportedly loves the organization... hard to imagine he'd come back to Penn State if the Cowboys want him

@roaminglion Quite possibly true, but if any organization can pull him away from the Cowboys, it would be PSU ... or at least I hope.

My hope is they get Elijah Robinson, the Texas A&M DL coach. He's a former PSU player, and was a grad assistant here as well. Probably one of the best DL coaches in the country, and will definitely be someone's DC very soon. He's also a tremendous recruiter in the PA/NJ area, as well as Texas.

He just seems like a perfect DC fit.

@navylion He has as many coaches in his rolodex as Mitt Romney had women in his binder.

I think he'd be an outstanding choice.  The sooner the better so we dont lose any momentum in our recruiting class.

It would be neat to have Sean Lee come back to coach the LB's.  I know its a pipe dream and a long shot but a fellow can dream from time to time

Too funny! Agree Elijah would be on short wish list for all the reasons listed. Top of my wishlist would be bringing Sean Spencer. Now has NFL experience and energy that kids love and I think needed on our sidelines. He would kill it on recruiting especially dline most important position on that side.

I believe the more important note here is lb coach.  I think they have enough talented coaches to be dc but they also lost a darn good lb coach.

He's a great recruiter too! He ranks 21st in the country among all coaches and his 2021 recruiting class boasted a 5 star and four 4 star players all of which were top 100 prospects. He'll be in Philadelphia on Thursday with Jimbo Fisher to visit PA's #1 2021 recruit Enai White.

@psujoe Enai Whites primary recruiter is Elijah Robinson for Texas A and M. He  was talked about coming back here for the DC job.  Maybe we get Robinson and White. I know Enai White was never showing real interest and n PSU.  He’s been a Lean For Texas A and M for a while.
