Listen we all know you are all knowing...I am telling you as a guy who played and sat in on more than one of these type of meetings...I will tell you how EVERY one of em went with me...EVERY one was more or less the same...Sometimes you were familiar with the new manager sometimes you weren't...After you get through with the niceties it comes down to what they feel your role will be on the team...There isn't a lot of fluff and bullshit...It was either we envision you being the starting shortstop this year and we are looking at you to fill the #2 slot in the batting order or some version of that...Or they tell you we see you in a utility role or no role at all...You as a player then have a decision to make as long as you aren't under contract...If you choose to believe that this discussion never came up or that the new coaching staff didn't inform Grunk of what was going on then I don't know what to tell you...I can tell you with 100% confidence it did because it always does...The new coach said I am bringing in my boy and Grunk saw the handwriting on the wall and left as 99.999999% of players would have that had an opportunity to play someplace else...I know you have to always win these debates because you know everything and are the smartest guy in the forum...Trust me...How I said this went down is how it went down...Publicly they can say whatever they want not to be controversial or to be politically correct or whatever...I have sat in on too many of these meetings...I know how it went down...You believe what you want to believe..."In other words Penn state didn't want him"
LMAO it's like you want to read into one word so much so that you're willfully ignorant to the words that came after: "rather than a case of Campbell or Penn State actively rejecting him or forcing him out"
I mean... my lord. He litterally said Penn State didn't reject me or force me out, and you’re like "look ar the word mutual! He was rejected!!"
Then threw in a "trust me bro" for good measure.
I find it quite hilarious that ypu have convinced yourself that I'm the know it all, considering you constantly think your are right about everything with no facts. Just trust me because I was a ballplayer, trust me I see it in my business, trust me I know. Etc. Etc. Me: I believe what the player said
You: I don't care what he said, I read between the lines and can tell you he was let go. Trust me I played ball so I KNOW"
But sure yeah.. I'm the know it all. Just seems you're butthurt I don't buy into your trust me bro schtick.
@the-funeral-director Funeral Director Best response ever. Roaminglion is such a blowhard know it all.
One thing Miami has done is build a solid foundation on thr lines. Miami's OL and DL is very, very good. At that point, you're ahead of the game.
They also spent 12 or 13 million dollars on QB’s the last 2 years
