I give credit to Kraft here... apparently part of the negotiations was Terry Smith was to be a part of the staff. It was non-negotiable.

That shows an AD that did not feel Terry Smith was ready to be head coach, but also he still understood and respected the value and dedication he brings to the staff. Well done by Kraft IMO.

@rip I've read it more than once. But, you know, the internet and all.

My sentiments exactly FD and I also loved his speech to the team he seems to be real passionate about Penn State, almost as passionate as a lot of alumni.

Looking at things TODAY with all the baggage that comes with LK Penn St got the best coach out there this year. The more I learn about this dude the more excited I get. It’s a good day to be a Penn St fan and we can thank Pat Kraft.

Aren’t you the guy that crossed him off you list shortly after the search started because ISU lost a game?
