Not sure if it was totally on the players or the Coaching schemes they were put in. Either way your right, the pass defense was very susceptible and porous.
I’m glad he’s coming back he could have a breakout year in 2020. I think since it was all of our DB’s having trouble it’s a coaching problem not a player problem. Hopefully we get this fixed next year. Will James Franklin make a change with the secondary coach? He might not need to fire somebody maybe just move a few coached around that’s worked for my Falcons this year. Dan Quinn the head coach of the Falcons moved a few coaches around and they started playing better and got a few good wins. Sometimes coaches just might be in the wrong spot and they don’t need to be fired just given another job?

I would assume that they are being taught but like someone mentioned the separation of coaching between CB's and Safeties just might be the problem. So that could lend it self to how they are coaching them but even if that is the case they should be coming together for a total group session.
Bottom line is it needs to get better.
