Had Penn St been 12-1 In Alabama shoes i promise you we would’ve been left out. You can forget the SEC champs being left out unless it’s to put another SEC team in

Southern, you are beating a dead horse, water over the bridge. It's a 12 team playoff now. Win as many games as you can and you have a chance.
@mastert I was just saying talking to FD. My point is they’d never leave the SEC champs out of the playoffs even with 2 losses, ain’t happening.
On his Always College Football show, ESPN analyst Greg McElroy gave his top 15 teams in the sport, with the month of September in the books.
McElroy dove into “what the rankings should be,” and he says Clemson (3-1, 2-0 ACC) should be in the top 10 – at No. 9 – considering how prolific the Tigers have been offensively since the season-opening 34-3 loss to Georgia.
“I think their defense is still a bit of a work in progress. But what we’re seeing right now from their offense is next level,” McElroy said. “I know it’s Stanford, I know it’s NC State, I know it’s Appalachian State. But I think that this offensive output is something that’s going to be able to be replicated against the best teams in the sport, too.
I copied this from espn. Clemson ain’t bad they’ve gotten better. They played Georgia tough until their defense got tired.
YES!!! Whether you like it or not they have teams in their conference who are undefeated...So YES...You go to the back of the line with the other 1 loss ballclubs...This ain't rocket science boys...The games have to matter and right now with this beauty contest bullshit the games don't matter...It's cater to the sacred cows from ESPN...I am on the record...The SEC gets at least 5 teams and I can see a situation where they put 7 of em in...I am also on the record that they will contort themselves into pretzels to create the brackets so that 80% of the SEC teams that are in play their 1st round games at home...The machinations have already started...Watch and see how this goes down...
I figure 6 SEC teams...2 from the BIG...Notre Dame...Big 12 champ...ACC champ & 1 from the group of 5...Depending on Notre Dame they may leave them out if they get knocked off again and that would be your 7 SEC teams...I honestly don't think they put 3 from the B1G in...
