It’s early in this game but sure looks like USC’s tackling hasn’t gotten much better.

Please invite me to your house for a beer or coffee. I want to see if we are watching the same game.  USC played a solid football game.  Plenty of playmakers on that team.  It will be interesting to see how they develop.

You really are a dumbass. I made that statement after the first 2 series of this game and I knew things could change which is why I said “it’s early”. Only someone as thick headed as you would need that explained.

Reading comprehension once again alluded you.

Yeah ok. You float around this forum with your head stuck up your own ass. Your stories change like the weather forecast.  Fair weathered fan that trolls his own fan base.

What part of my story changed moron? They weren’t tackling well at the beginning of this game and LSU was moving the ball at will. If you would use your tiny brain to think before you post you would have noticed what time I posted that.

Until we can run the football at will we better come ready to play every game. If Da keeps getting better running the football like he’s been doing it gives the defense something else to worry about but what I want to see is our OL, line up punch the dude in the face and push ‘em 3 yard down field and I’m still not seeing that after the first game and against WV I should’ve been seeing it. If we can’t dominate in the trenches we’ll struggle playing top 5 teams.

I don’t know what WV had coming back besides their QB and supposedly they were to have a very good OL listing to homer and we pretty much dominated their offense I was really never worried about losing the game.

Four-star class of 2025 wide receiver Matthew Outten, of I.C. Norcom High School in Portsmouth, Virginia, committed to Penn State Monday afternoon. Homer, is this one of the dudes you were talking about that James Franklin needs to flip? We flipped this kid from VT?

Yes, I was comparing to last seasons average, just telling Southern our running game wasn't all that bad overall. But you are right, we see how they look against USC on the road which will most likely be their first big test.

GO STATE!

Number 11 needs to stay focused if he wants to be a Parsons or Arrington!  I get the first game, new position and scouts on the sidelines, but he needs to be a leader on defense.  I am cool with the two offside penalties, but the late hit was not acceptable....or called for.  He is a good player, we need him and he needs show the guys what discipline is all about.

@mtnittanylion  He had an excellent freshman season but been nothing but hype since IMO. Rojas will be better.

I expected more out of this past Saturday and and the only highlights were his penalties.  But, the kid is fast and he will disrupt offenses as the season goes on.  I just think he has a lot more room to grow to be playing on Sundays.  As for Rojas, yep, this kid is going to be a threat as the season goes on. He is one of those guys that just gets it and it showed against WVU.

Consensus four-star offensive lineman Malachi Goodman, from Paramus Catholic in New Jersey, committed to Penn State on Tuesday afternoon. This was a big, big win for Penn State and O-line coach Phil Trautwein, as Goodman chose the Nittany Lions over USC and Auburn in a lengthy battle.

just saw this on Pennlive. This also looks like a good get.
