will be available to OSU for the PSU game...big shocker there.
Shocked, I tell you. JUST SHOCKED!!!!!!!!!
Initially it was a 4 game suspension so I’m guessing OSU won their appeal. Wow, how convenient Young found a new family friend that just happens to be a registered agent and the NCAA felt it fine to rule in their favor just in time for Penn State and Michigan.
In all honesty it probably should have been 1 game at most. Precedent was set with the Kentucky player last year where he actually took money from an agent and only got 1 game. As much as I dislike OSU, it does seem that they get hit with things that are yawned about in the SEC....cough cough Mr. Cam Newton and Johnny Football.
What is the rumor out there about Franklin having a hand in this "leak" regarding Chase Young?
Spare me. Give me a break. They won't need him on the field. Ryan Day can stay at home and boil hot dogs and coach the game sending text messages to his assistants on the sidelines.
"...but I'm a Penn State fan" LMAO

You talking about the OSU vs Rutgers game I presume, LMAO.

Titan, I actually had to like your comment because I agree with your comment and I think you were talking about Young and not Day. It’s just the optics of it all, OSU bends the rules and gets a laughable slap on the hand for it. I believe Roam may have commented ( and I paraphrase) that he hopes Young does play because we prefer to play them at full strength. So be it, to be the best you have to play the best..no excuses.
No big deal. Go PSU

Yes I did... I always prefer to play teams at their best, however I do not like it when people get away with things.
So I guess I'm conflicted, because while I like that we will have a big challenge next Saturday I do not believe Fields should be playing at all. I've thought the moment it was granted, it was complete BS. I know I talk about conspiracies being bogus, but most other programs would not have been allowed to get away with this nonsense.
As for Young, I honestly don't know. I find the NCAA rulings widely inconsistent and baffling. Sometimes teams get hammered, and other get slaps on the wrist.

It really isn't baffling; just follow the money, as with other things don't make sense the money trail is the flash light.
So from what I under stand is this is money he took in 2018?
If that is the case I would not punish the player but rather punish the program for playing a player that knowingly broke the rules and with held the information while playing in 2019.
Best way to handle it would be remove any games won that he played in... Seems to be fair and send the biggest message...
Other than that all you can do know is block his ass...

Yeah, it's still baffling because I've seen marquee teams get the hammer, and I've seen 2nd tier teams get a slap on the wrist. It goes both ways.
I just see no rhyme or reason to their rulings at all.
