It’s a way to raise NIL money for PSU athletes.

This is the logical progression of the NIL misadventure.  I don't think I'll be participating, thank you.

I completely understand. Unfortunately the landscape of college athletics has changed. To stay competitive, PSU needs to offer similar financial incentives as the other major programs. I have definitely lost interest and am not sure if I will watch college football with the same enthusiasm as I have over the previous 30 years.

Me too.  It's just not the same anymore and it's gonna get worse.  The transfer portal is resulting in more player movement than NFL free agency!  You have to wonder, how many are entering the portal in chase of greener NIL pastures!

Tell me it aint so Joe.  They enter the transfer portal for academic reasons, like the major they want isn't offered at the current school.  That would be:

Kinesiology

Parks and Recreation

African American Studies

This is why a good amount of coaches have left, and more will be leaving. It was already a more demanding job than pro coaching, now they have to deal with this? Many are just retiring to not have to deal with it.

I have to disagree with those saying NIL is the death of CFB. all it will do is make the “haves” be even more competitive and the “have nots” be less relative.

I personally find it sickening and repulsive that someone is trying to capitalize and tug at PSU fans hearts by using “ success with honor “ to raise money that those donating have no clue where their donations are going.

Probably retiring from CFB to take jobs installing tampon dispensers in Oregon H.S. Boys bathrooms. Have to keep your schools inline with the menstrual cycle freedom act or whatever it is you libtards are calling it now.

I think NIL was the driving force behind Sandy Barber’s retirement. She just did not want to deal with it.

Well I'm certainly glad to see that anything that happens where I live must mean that I automatically support and agree with it. However I still fail to see where this tangent came from, talk about a random outburst.
