pipe is probably predicting somewhere between 1 and 100 inches to be safe...now here in State College, upward of 8 but iced mixing in now so probably 6 heavy, backbreaking inches.
Ironically, up here only 2-3 inches max is expected, maybe more on Friday. This is the longest winter I can remember.
Murr-dog, I don't miss those heavy wet snows that Central PA is famous for. We get a lot more up here but it's normally the light fluffy stuff.
It has felt like a long winter in southern PA too! January felt like the longest it's been since I was in elementary school when a month was eternity.
Wet/heavy?...Light/fluffy? You think that’s bad? The snow around here is so tough that snow flakes knock and when you open the door they punch you in the face...and then you have to apologize to them for being rude.
