Fellow Nits,

It's been a crazy year hasn't it? We went from no football to the tease of football, to no football to football again all in a few short weeks.  And hat does not even begin to describe the years I am sure all of us had in our personal lives as we adjust to the current state of affairs in our country. I refuse to call this the new normal because I believe in the resolve of the American people.

For me, it has been one of the most trying but rewarding years of my life. I won't get into the details but if anyone wants to know more feel free to hit me up. I'd love to hear your stories as well.

Now that we are less than a week away I am hoping to be able to spend more time on the forum than I have in the past few months. Truth be told, I have missed you all and am looking forward to rekindling our chats and relighting the flame of passion for Penn State Football that lives in all of us.

I know that I have let some of the forum rules slide this year but would respectfully ask that we get back to what makes this forum special... Talking football with some of the best minds in all of the country. Thank you!  I also, noticed that the auto ads setting has sort of taken over the site. I apologize for that.  I have been working to manually place ads instead of letting the networks do as they please.  Hopefully this will make for a better user experience for you all.  Please know that I only keep ads on the site to help pay for all the great features of this site.  It will, as I promised, remain free as long as I am in charge!

With that, I am excited to announce that the Live Chat is back for another year. I know thats one of the best features of this site and I hope to see you all here on Saturday.

I am continuing to look for new and better ways to bring the best conversations of Penn State football onto your screens.  If anybody would like to offer any suggestions feel free to reach out to me.

With that said, I missed you all and let's go P. S. U.

Cave,  Thank you but let's not be too quick to remove the "Click Bait".  Removing the Bikini ads and the Ukrainian Girls would be censorship and censorship is wrong.

Cave, Thanks for providing the forum for discussion. 2020 has certainly been a challenge for all of us, myself and my family included and I’ll leave it at that. 2021 can’t get here soon enough and I’m not normally one to wish my life away. As for the ads, you could certainly do us all a favor and remove the political BS ads, specifically the MAGA ones. The ads couldn’t be more one sided. Thanks.

I have absolutely zero control on what ads are displayed. I actually have never seen a political ad on the site. Not saying they don’t show up but I’m not the one picking them. Typically the ads are going to display based on site topics and the viewers browsing history.

I apologize that I can’t honor this request but I’d imagine they will go away after the election.

Thanks for the response. I assumed you didn’t have a choice on ads, but based on your initial post in this thread it seemed as though you were referring to all the political ads. I get Trump campaign ads and Trump surveys every time I log onto this website, and I can assure you I don’t search for anything Trump campaign related nor will I ever do so. Seriously though, does this mean Tae looks up Ukrainian women and that’s why he gets those ads? 😂

@lionbacker99 haha no in that case I think the ad network (Google runs it) looks at the internet profile of the people visiting the site and decides it’s worthwhile to show them: I have requested that ads like that not show up but so far it seems it has not been honored.

Cave,

For the love of God please dont remove the Ukrainian women dating sites.  Not that I look or anything but I know some of the other members on here do and I wouldnt want to create a bad day for any of them.  Glad to see PSU football is back!!  I'll be in the northern rockies hunting elk the Saturday of the PSU/OSU game.

Its good to see some of the old gang came back to roost.  I saw where FD and CC Delco popped back in to share a comment.

Geez T, last winter, "The Kid" had us believing you were too old to hunt whitetails any more and now you're tellin' us you're climbing mountains to find an elk? lol Stop by my brother's in Garden City and tell 'im I said he's still fugly!

SPF Nothing wrong w/ venison veil. But I guess down that way, 3 months would only be the size of a beagle.

@been-there-ii:

The Kid isnt worthy enough to carry my sling much less my rifle.  But dont tell him I ever said that!!  All I know is we're hunting 2 hours north of Boise.  My son and grandson tell me we can drive up the ridge where we'll be hunting and tenting.  The plan is to hunt the ridges and glass down into the meadows to look for deer.  Just talked to him last nite and he's telling me the wildfires have everything screwed up and the lack of snow hasnt brought them down our of the high country yet.  I'm being told that the hills arent any steeper then Maine's my hunch is they'll be a hell of a lot higher!!

SPF: what the heck is it with you and finding deer with milk still on their lips??

@tsuga. I’m on 5 acres of land and I have a lot of woods around me. We’ve got a lot of deer around here but I’m thinking this is the brother of the other baby deer. We put the other one down because it was in bad shape it was sick but this one is doing great so far I’m hoping to get it big enough so it can take off and do it’s thing.

As you were, that's Garden Valley, not Garden City, north of Boise by 1/2 hr or so.

Well, hey! Ya should aughta take The Whippersnapper Kid along to be your sherpa. He can haul everything, except for you rifle of course, up and down the "no steeper, but probably taller than, Maine's", Idaho foothills.
