Hey Southern, to say I'm highly disappointed would be a huge understatement. My sources back home are saying he has a slightly enlarged heart possibly due to a previous positive covid test. To me personally this is a bigger blow than the loss of Parsons. He was going to be a very important piece of our offense. Oh well, I just hope Journey has a full recovery and a possible future in the NFL.
Too bad, he had a promising career ahead of him. Really enjoyed watching him play. Hope he puts all his efforts into his academics. He still has the opportunity to get a valuable PSU degree. Wishing him well in all future endeavors.

Also just wanted to say I'm hearing a few things from back home and I never want to speculate or report anything as if it's gospel on anyone's physical health ever. If and when it's reported publicly then we know for sure. Have to say of course I love PSU football but when you have a hometown kid wearing blue and white ready to tear it up, it even makes it personally more exciting and special. Get well Journey, Meadville is behind you no matter what your path may be.

As a D10 guy that often doesn’t get the respect that it deserves this really sucks. Journey was lightly recruited by the major D1 programs but Franklin gave him a shot and he made the most of it. He was destined to be a college star and who knows what after that, Good luck in your future endeavors Journey but most important, be healthy. You made D1 and Meadville, Pennsylvania proud.
