Man, I thought it was going to rain today so we cooked pinto beans, cornbread, Macaroni cheese, corn casserole and fried potatoes baby for the game today. It’s a stinking dawg game but my youngest son is a dawg fan so I gotta give in sometimes lol.

watched the second half earlier today and the second half looked like last year the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. I’m tired of blaming the OL because when you’re trying to play 19 RB’s nobody can get in a rhythm and Clifford ain’t good enough to keep coaching like this. I’m beginning to wonder if Yurcich ain’t the problem unless James Franklin is tying his hands. It is the first game but I was expecting a good 4 quarters. I ain’t seen any studs on the defense except maybe #9. Losing the game and the best RB is sitting on the bench but the good things is they found a way to win. Man I’ve never seen us this weak at LB’r and DE. Still having problems getting off the field on 3rd and 4th down on defense. It’s the first game but from what I seen we got a ways to go.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it'll all come together (hopefully sooner not later).  I think gutting out the win over Purdue will give the guys confidence.  The D did get the stop when the game was on the line and that TD drive at the end was just about picture perfect.  Keep the faith, Southern!

For most of the game I was saying this looks just like last year and then that last drive happened which looked nothing like last year. Hopefully that drive was a sign of things to come.
I’d love to see Denis-Sutton get a good amount of play time vs Ohio and see what he can do. He and Chop are going to be an awesome DE combo in the future.

I understand the defense being kind of shaky because Diaz is in his first year and we did replace a few starters. I’m just use to Penn St having DE’s that over powering guys and gettin after the QB. I thought the OL played pretty good it’s just the RB’s can’t get anything going playing every 4 series. Need to put 4 quarters together. It’s the first game so I need to be a little more patient lol Georgia killing Oregon

lol No bone in gizzards! She should be love gizzards. Not to burst your bubble, but I've never seen gizzards on any menus around this neck of the woods, fried or otherwise.

@been-there-ii  hopefully my man lake will check in, he’ll know where you can find some. Usually truck tops and gas stations have ‘em. Loves truck stop I know has ‘em.  1-0 baby we’ll take it.

@southern-psu-fan There's a Love's not quite half way between Lake and I. May have to stop and check it out.

There’s a Loves truck stop near Middletown,PA and I’m pretty sure they don’t sell chicken gizzards. I’m curious now and may have to also stop and check next time I go past there.

@been-there-ii  if the Loves Truck stop has a Chester’s chicken, there’s a good chance it has gizzards. If the Chester’s don’t have chicken gizzards  go ahead a grab some chicken since you’re there because the chicken is dynamite baby. Don’t forget the packs of hot sauce 😁.    If you’re ever down south most convenient gas station like the 205 truck stops right outside Talladega Al. always has gizzards and other good fried foods inside.
