Those 6 seasons almost perfectly reflect Dabo Sweeney's first 6 seasons at Clemson. Almost perfectly. 1 Conference title in year 3, and the next 3 years building talent while coming close but not quite getting to elite.
Year 7 for Sweeney is where the magic happened, and Clemson has been a CFP staple ever since. Hopefully Franklin continues the trend of echoing Sweeney's record and we make the CFP in year 7.
Good points roam but Sweeney don’t have Michigan Ohio State and the big 10 championship to deal with so his road is much easier IMHO. Not taking anything away from dabo because he’s done a great job. Clemson was losing talent to others as well, 2009-2015 their recruiting classes were usually in the 20s. Only had 2 top 10 classes in 7 years, highest being ranked #9.

But right now I'm ambivalent to someone who acts like you're the one arguing with them... when they're arguing right back at you. He got annoyed as if I was the only one arguing, when he was just as defiant and convinced he was right about his opinion as I was about mine.

Take it to your own room and battle it out! Have some consideration for the other people on the board! That episode pretty much ruined it for me as I would assume others.

The arguing, fighting, bickering, whatever you want to call it - IS FUN!! Why else would the almighty have given us the ability to think and reason and to arrive at different conclusions if it wasn't to fight! Fight may be too strong of a word here ... but it's true. We learn and grow from these discussions, and possibly our conclusions evolve a bit to include someone else's facts - it's life in a nutshell! Do some need to grow thicker skin, yeah probably, but just like a RB that is 5'8'' and 160lbs probably isn't going to make it as a NFL back - some on this site just can't cut it with the level of debate on this site.

While I won't apologize for arguing with people, I will say that I am sorry if anyone thinks that I feel superior or that my opinion is always "the best".
I don't get the whole "you always have to have the last word" argument either... if I have something more to say... I say it. I don't see anything wrong with that.
But again I enjoy the back and forth.... but that doesn't mean I don't completely value Southern's opinion, Bob's opinion, or even Navy's.
If I am sorry about anyting, I'm sorry that he felt like I thought that I was better than him. I don't. And when I told him to use the ignore button, I told him that because that is exactly what it's there for.
