LSU has wins against Texas and Florida and he has them #6? I don’t get that and Ohio st ain’t beat any team worth a crap. Since 2016 Michigan St is 24-21 back to average just like I said they would when penn st and Michigan gets their problems fixed. Man, they stink on offense

This computer is no way used to determine anything anymore... Sagarin is just a computer pull left over that people like to look at, it has no bearing on anything
First of all this isn't like the NFL where teams key players are there for a longer period of time...These kids have a 1 or 2 year shelf life on a team and then if they are any good leave for the NFL..Who cares what any college team did in 2016? It is not indicative of what they are in 2019...99% of the key players who played on those teams in 2016 are long gone...I am still not convinced that Texas is any good...By your standards Southern they stink...They got drilled by Maryland 2 years in a row...2017 and 2018...MARYLAND...All of a sudden LSU beats em and now they are a top team? Georgia gets beat at home by a 2 win South Carolina...Squeaks by Notre Dame at home...Notre Dame hangs on to beat a mediocre USC team...So how good is Notre Dame? How good is Georgia? They play with themselves and everybody assumes these teams are great...I ain't buying any of it...I am shocked they moved Penn State up as far as they did...The fact that Georgia loses at home to a 2 win team and doesn't drop out of the top 10 is laughable...What's a bad loss? Why is the assumption the Iowa's , Michigan States etc...aren't good teams but the midland SEC teams are TOUGH MATCHUPS? I guess by Your and the talking heads metrics a 2 win South Carolina team is an acceptable team to lose to? The important thing as far as Penn State is concerned is that they won't be given any slack whatsoever...They better win out...I am afraid even Wisconsin is in the same situation...Which is total B.S....Who says that these teams aren't as good as the LSU's and Bama's? The next 3 or 4 weeks will sort itself out however don't expect the B1G to get the same treatment that the sacred cows of the SEC get...
I told ya we’d be 7th FD. The big 10 doesn’t get any respect and that’s why we don’t get ranked high unless we’re undefeated. Michigan State getting hammered by the Tide 38-0 and Ohio st getting shut out 31-0 in the playoffs don’t help plus the big 10 teams need to step up come bowl time and we need to stop losing to the Kentucky’s in bowl games and we might get respect. It’s all about respect under this chit we have with the CFP committee and they don’t respect the big 10 it’s that simple. FD, we’re on the same page you just think the big 10 is better than I do.michigan state loses to Arizona St and NW losing to Stanford are games that don’t help the big 10 cause and Ohio st doesn’t play anybody outside of the big 20 east lol

We have more teams in the top 25 than the SEC, and more teams in the top 7 than the SEC.

Oh yeah I’m talking about having teams in the top 4. I’m talking about making the playoffs while sitting home watching conference championship games. I’m just giving my opinion to FD why we don’t get respect that’s all. I’m satisfied with the rankings today it’s the committee that worries me not the coaches and AP.

The Pac 12 is the conference that gets no respect. We get a good amount of respect, unfortunately our conference champ sh*t the bed against terrible teams two years in a row.
Yeah, you could say the 2016 Big Ten Champ didn't get in... but you could also say the Big Ten was the first conference to have a non-champion go to the playoff.

The bowl theory is bogus for the simple reason that many of the top players skip the bowl games because of injury fears and their NFL combine prep...Those are more or less meaningless games and are designed for teams to get a free vacation to a warm weather resort destination. Those games are also meant to attract alumni to those warm weather resort destinations as well...The bowls are no longer an accurate barometer of how good a conference or a team is cause many of the better players choose not to play..
That’s one year and I was upset Ohio st got the shaft go back and look. Usually the big 10 disappoints during bowl season....except of us of course lol

It was only recently that kids started skipping bowl games, that wasn't a thing until a few years ago. I believe the first big skip was Christian McCaffery.

There are other reasons as well, first and foremost being that the Big Ten always punches above its weight. It happens often where our 6,7,8 teams play against the 2,3, or 4 teams from another conference
Hey Southern who has Alabama played? And I read Franklin saying that Alabama has played only one true non conference road game the last twelve years. Is that true?
So I guess the answer is yes then. Unless Atlanta is a true away game? I could flip a coin on those two anyway.
Alabama doesn’t need respect because they already have it. We need respect along with all the other big 10 teams. Ohio st getting their butt kicked by all the SEC teams they’ve played the last 25 years has hurt the big 10 when it come to the voters. Alabama IMO really ain’t played anybody this year so far but it doesn’t matter because the voters will give the Tide the benefit of the doubt because of all the games and championships they’ve won.
Alabama has respect they have nothing to prove because of all the NC’s they’ve won. It is what it is.
