Citing chronic injury and pain issues that started back in High School. I wish him well and all the best going forward in his life.

I just saw this as well. It is totally unexpected and sucks. Hopefully, he can get the chronic pain under control. He is way too young to deal with that his entire life. Very intelligent decision on his part. He was a warrior and a really good DE. Sorry to see him go, but I understand.

I would rather know now than find out he could go on anymore in a game.  Remember how we struggled at anOhio State when he went out.  Can't blame the guy for wanting to be able to walk when he's 60.  The effects of degenerative joints is something that surfaces years later.
