1. All targeting calls must be CONFIRMED by replay officials. If it cannot be confirmed, then it is overturned. There is no "the call stands" if they can't confirm it either way. Either there is concrete proof of targeting, or it didn't happen. No middle ground.
2. If a player gets 3 targeting penalties in a single year, that player is suspended 1 game.
3. Overtime: There will be slightly longer breaks after the 2nd & 4th OT's, and after the 5th OT the game will go to alternating 2 pt conversions. So in the 6th OT on, it's just a 2 pt. conversion and nothing else until someone makes it and the other fails.
I really like the review on targeting calls. Player ejections can be a game changer. If it is justified, so be it. However this should eliminate bad calls impacting the outcome.
