Ok, Last post unless I get one......don't want anyone getting annoyed at us. But I need ya! LOl
Up in my tree tonight, 4:00 pm and I realized the flint fell out of my muzzleloader. Must have happened when I shot the other night. Hiked back to the car, had one in the box I carry with me, no leather, but was able to get it to stay in ( which at our age, is always a good thing)...that was for BT!! LOL
Back to the tree stand and there stood 2 doe, broadside and they were 10' off the property line.....20 yards away! See, this is how I roll Tsuga.
Tomorrow night, all bets are off. The other land owner said have it! I am NOW determined to get something with my muzzleloader. This has become a challenge now.
Let's keep this around Penn State Football. If Mt Nittany tags a deer with a muzzleloader, Penn State RUNS the table this year! You all need to root for me! Unless you don't like hunting!
GO STATE!!!!!
@mtnittanylion: I cant get it to stay up much less get it to stay in. You need to get yourself a possibles bag to carry spare flints with you.
On the positive side, that's pretty cool that the neighboring landowner gave you permission to shoot one on his property. That may turn into two properties to hunt.
I'll root for ya but I firmly believe the only thing Franklin runs is his mouth.
Keep the wind in our face and the sun at your back and more importantly....shoot straight.
@mtnittanylion You know how old leather is; get it wet, let it dry & it'll be stiff. Problem comes, if ya oil it too much, then it'll stays soft. Then again, that all depends on who's putting the oil on for you.
@been-there-ii Lol ya killing me BT. AOC would turn Elton John straight if she was rubbing the oil. Man that girl is fine.
@southern-psu-fan I personally would rather smack AOC and then have Boebert rub oil on me.
I'll take Kate Upton, leave politics out of this! Lmao
In other news, Hairbaugh interviewing w/ LA Chargers this week. JJ McCarthy declares for the draft. Read into it what you will....
@rip You're welcome Bob! Took them a while to come out w/ the additional info. I was thinking the same thing, then I saw that was where we got him from. Eventually, they said what he was really going to do. Get a promotion. Go back home. Sign me up.
And here's the new coach. Lots of accolades.
@been-there-ii James Franklin does a great job hiring coaches so I’m sure this dude will get it done. Our ST has been very good.
I’ll take Belichick or Harbaugh they both have interviewed with Atlanta. The Falcons can’t be picky 😂
@southern-psu-fan LOL you can have them both! But I'd give Harbaugh is probably a better coach. But didn't work out very well last time he was in the NFL.
Interestingly, reported by the Plain Dealer, Cleveland;
"Per Dan Wetzel, he’s (Harbaugh) seeking language that would, “Grant him immunity from termination from any finding or sanction that could arise from multiple current NCAA investigations into the football program.” In other words, Michigan cannot fire him for anything that comes from the NCAA investigation involving sign-stealing, nor the recruiting violations.
Additionally, he is searching for a clause that any decision regarding a “for cause” termination will be decided by a three-member panel, not the school’s athletic director.
He is also, per the same report, looking to delay his new contract with the Wolverines so that NFL teams can pay a lower buyout to lure him away from Michigan. Meaning that if the Chargers, Falcons or any team wants to hire him, it will be easier and less prohibitive for them to do so."
Innocent until proven guilty but, that sure sounds like some CYA to me.
Interesting that he didn't give Connor Stallions or his linebacker coach those same considerations. He provided no due process for them, yet seeks it for himself. What a guy.@southern-psu-fan LOL you can have them both! But I'd give Harbaugh is probably a better coach. But didn't work out very well last time he was in the NFL.
