Great, the Buckeye's have beaten up on all but one decent team that just happened to lose to Illinois and barley got by Iowa and Northwestern. Penn State (IMO) has played way better competition to date than Ohio State has. Outside of Wisconsin, Ohio State hasn't faced a single team that is remotely close to Iowa, Michigan, Pitt or Minnisota. Pitt? Hey, they are 7-3, almost beat Penn State, did beat a #15 UCF lost to a decent UVA team and Miami team....and Miami is no slouch. Yes, they lost 4 but look at those losses and how close they were at being 10-0.Â
This late in season Penn State has played the currently ranked #7, #14 and #23 with a the #24 team on deck. Ohio State has only played a currently ranked #15 team with Rutgers on deck.Â
Â
You know what else? Georgia and Utah both lost to unranked teams and had North Carolina not gone for 2, they would have taken Clemson to OT which is just as bad as far I am concerned. And YET, come Tuesday night, all three of these teams are going to be ranked ahead Penn State who's only loss is to the #7 ranked team in the country....even if they are only thier for a minute or two!Â
Â
Dang I hope this Penn State team gets some fire in their belly's the rest of the season! They are not a long shot at all, they are 120 minutes away from setting the world on fire.....Ain't even putting Rutgers in this equasion!!Â
Yeah... I was not overly impressed with the soft schedule that Minnesota played... My prediction was if PSU DB lock down Minnesota WRs we win by 14. They could not and turning over the football 2xs for 14 points spelled disaster.
Touche'....lol
My point is that the Buckeye's are getting a lot of love and NOBODY feels Penn State has a chance based on what? One win over Wisconsin and lot's of wins over who? Their is NO doubt they are a very good program, but they are beatable!Â
B10 officiating prefers us over OSU 😎Â
OSU schedule is back end loaded. They shouldn't be looking forward to UM but maybe.
