Ewers is expected to consider Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech for his next school, sources told Yahoo Sports.

Glad to hear the suckeyes took another one on the  chin. I wonder if they'll try to flip Allar now??  Could be an interesting few weeks leading up to signing day.

@t-hale It’s unlikely they heavily pursue Allar now. They just got a commitment from the #5 rated QB in the same class, Devin Brown, who was previously committed to USC.  Plus, they have at least 1 more year with Stroud and Kyle McCord, from St. Joe’s Prep, waiting in the wings.  Supposedly, Jack Miller, along with Ewers entered the transfer portal. You could see this coming a mile away. You can’t have 5 highly rated alpha dog QBs on the roster when only 1 plays at a time. 

For comparison, 24/7 has Allar rated #1 and now a 5 star recruit, along with Reading area RB and PSU commit Nick Singleton who is now also a 5 star and #1 rated RB in the class. Allar has a much better chance of playing early at PSU and he committed largely due to Yurcich.

You seem to have a pretty good handle on recruiting and whatnot. In saying  that, do you think we have a chance to flip the two offensive lineman from Notre Dame??

@t-hale Doubtful. I haven’t seen any discussion on this anywhere else. Not sure why any of their recruits would leave? The only coach that left was Kelly. The rest of the staff remains intact, at least at this time it does.
