Why is A&M more deserving than Indiana? Indiana has one close loss to Ohio State and A&M got drilled worse by Bama than Notre Dame did by Clemson? Why does the SEC team always get the nod over a B1G team or a Coastal Carolina?

Because he watches ESPiN religiously.

FD, I might give you Indiana but I still believe they’d get drilled by A&M but coastal Carolina is a light weight. If Coastal Carolina played in the SEC they wouldn’t win a game unless it was out of conference. Indiana has a good team but A&M are ranked higher

That is blatant nonsense Southern. The Sun Belt has won a few games against the SEC the past couple years, so saying they wouldn't win a game is pure BS.
I'd say Coastal Carolina is better than South Carolina actually.
As for why the SEC gets the benefit of the doubt, that is pretty simple... They are the only conference with a winning record against every other conference, and it’s not close.
So really, it’s not some conspiracy... they generally win on the field against other conferences.
@roaminglion. Have they ever won a game against the SEC?
They have only been FBS level for 4 years, but in their 1st ever season they lost to Arkansas 38-39.
So I don’t think it's a stretch to say they would win some games in the SEC now, if they barely lost during their 1st ever season. Appalachian State has beaten SEC teams, and they are in the Sun Belt too.
Arkansas is probably the worst team in the SEC and they lost. When they win one get back with me but until then I stand by my statement. Coastal Carolina is a lightweight, good for their level of football but definitely a lightweight when stacked up against SEC teams.
The top 3 or 4 teams in the big 10 can go head to head with the SEC but it’s a drop off after that. Ohio St is the big 10 champs let’s see how they stack up this year against Clemson but it ain’t worked out to good lately for Ohio st

IT WAS THEIR FIRST YEAR IN THE FBS.
Just stop Southern, no one is saying they would win the SEC, but to say they wouldn’t win a game is pure nonsense
@roaminglion. I might be wrong but I thought FD was asking why I would put SEC teams in the playoffs over big 10 bottom feeders or coastal Carolina and I don’t think Indiana or coastal Carolina belong in the top 4. Yes anything is possible but it would be an uphill battle for coastal Carolina to beat SEC teams especially the ones trying to get in the playoffs. But anything is possible in football because they’re upsets all the time.

Put Vandy against CC this year and who wins?

Indiana would have 2 losses if Franklin could tell time, add and subtract! That is why I HAVE TA&M in my pick. Not sure about Southern, that guy eats boiled peanuts and drinks weak beer! Who know what he is thinking!
@mtnittanylion: and he eats fried chicken livers like they're candy.
#1 Alabama
#2 Clemson
#3 Ohio St
#4 Texas A&M
#5 ND
i only rank the top 5 teams because this is where the big dawgs play
Conference rankings
#1 SEC
#2 ACC
#3 big 10
#4 big 12
#5 PAC

@psujoe. I said we don’t like the cold weather, we ain’t scared of anything Joe lol
I love ya southern but it's your ilk that keeps perpetuating the farce...Let them play...Let's see if they get drilled? I think otherwise and frankly I have watched about 4 or 5 of coastal carolina's games this season and they have a very good defense...They said Oklahoma was going to drill Boise State a few years back and how did that work out...How about UCF? They beat Auburn who beat Bama...If you never give these teams a shot you can always just say they can't compete...Why is Indiana a lightweight and A&M isn't? As far as the bowl game setup is concerned it's about the matchups...Who is the favorite in most of those SEC matchups and why? You can do a lot of things to control outcomes of games between conferences...Was it 3 years ago the SEC went 2-7 in bowl games and what happened the following year? Same ole bullshit..ESPN is in bed with them and the ACC so they are always going to get the sacred cow treatment...It is in ESPN's business interest to downgrade the B1G, Pac 12 & Big 12...The B1G has their own network and a contract with Fox...So does the Big 12...They are the competition...They push Notre Dame for 2 reasons...#1 they are an easy win for Bama and there isn't a snowballs chance in hell they can beat Bama...Coastal Carolina on the other hand is a dangerous team...They come in and give Bama a game (I think they would give em a better game than Notre Dame will) now you shatter the myth...I want somebody to explain to me how UCF wasn't in the playoff? I can tell ya why...They had a legit chance of beating the sacred cow and they won't allow that to happen...So every year they rate Bama the #1 seed and they will play a 4 seed patsy and end up either playing Clemson or Ohio State...I never was a big Bobby Bowden fan but I will give him this...He would travel north every year and play either Notre Dame or Penn State in November...Coastal Carolina is far from a patsy and so is Indiana...This sham is exposed year in and year out for what it is and all you get is a bunch of bullshit spewed out about eye tests and all kinds of other excuses...That Coastal Carolina, Cincinnati and Indiana not to be ranked in the top 8 is a joke...Until the Bama's and Clemson's of the world play these teams as far as I am concerned they are ducking them...They play with themselves to protect the myth...ESPN and the big money has ruined college football...That is what makes the March Madness so great...They throw 64 teams in and let them play...How many times do you see the Duke's of the world get knocked off by a lower seed from a lesser conference...At least they let them play...That is more than this sham of a system does...And that is why this whole thing is a farce...
@southern-psu-fan ... These teams will never travel north in November to play a top team from the B1G ever again... They have no reason to...The myth is in full swing...
@the-funeral-director. FD, Ohio St and Oklahoma gets drilled by Clemson and Alabama every time they play ‘em and you think coastal Carolina or Indiana will hold up? Ohio St has 2 wins out of 14 games against the SEC big dawgs. Brother coastal Carolina and Indiana will get killed in the playoffs. I’m talking playoffs. Coastal Carolina and Indiana just ain’t got it up front they get man handled and beat down.

Southern needs to stop watching ESPiN.

If there was an eight team playoff I’d like to see ‘em get a chance but no way with a 4
Auburn is coming to Penn State 2021. Does anybody know if the schedule is staying the same next year? I heard somebody say VT canceled the other game we had scheduled with them I haven’t read it no where just heard it on here I believe?

VT cancelled the game because it was a home/home series but the game in Blacksburg was supposed to happen this year. Since they didn't get their home game, they didn't think it was fair that we'd get ours.
@the-funeral-director: Isnt Cinn ranked #8?? I get what you're saying FD but looking at CC's body of work, their schedule IS kinda weak. You could argue that BYU was a signature win and I couldnt disagree or agree with you one way or the other. Indiana?? How many OT's did they have to go into to beat a team with 4 wins?? I get the SEC bias and cant disagree that it exists. I honestly think they got it right this year with the four they picked and that's saying a lot knowing how much utter disdain I have for ND and OSU. Maybe A&M deserve a ticket to the dance. Either way, I wont be watching any of the bowl games. If PSU isnt playing, I honestly dont give a damn who plays and who wins. Stay safe my friend and dont take any wooden nickels. If you happen to bury any Michigan or OSU fans, can ya make sure you paint their balls blue and white?? I'd add ND fans to that list but we all know they have no balls!!! That one was for CT, hope he's following along.
