One thing that's worrisome about the run defense, is the fact that Illinois is playing a freshman quarterback. Are we just playing a standard defense to let them learn? Why on Earth wouldn't we be stacking the line more and blitzing the freshman?
The thing that concerns me the most is the poor tackling...This is the 4th game of the season...This should have been addressed and cleaned up by now...

Okay, I've seen enough... Get Koa Farmer out of the damn game. Why the heck is this kid the starting will linebacker?
He's nowhere near as physically gifted as Parsons, he's a senior, and still making the same type of mistakes as Parsons does.
I'd rather the younger kid who has the physical talent to make up for being out of position play the entire game and learn. everytime farmers in there it's like we're just throwing away experience for Parsons and getting nothing back in return.

You are right to a point Southern but poor tackling has nothing to do with being young...That has to do with desire...I can live with the bad angles...missed assignments and all the things that go with being a young team but the piss poor tackling is something that I won't accept...This has been going on all season and now we are in the 4th game and it still hasn't been cleaned up...I also don't like the fact that we are not getting any penetration from the DLine...We haven't put any pressure on this kid...If they don't get this squared away in the 2nd half they may get beat here...Illinois gets the ball to start the 2nd half...It behooves them to stuff them 3 and out or dare I say get a turnover to take control of this game again...
