With the current situation at UNC we may be able to flip this guy. He’ll be a Jan enrollee. Also need to get Zahir Mathis from PA who announced he wont be committing to anyone tomorrow.

Today’s the first day of the early signing period and so far there’s not a whole lot about this class that gets me excited. Looks like it will fall right in the 16-20 range which is where I thought it would.
@psujoe I’m pretty sure we’ll do good in the transfer portal it’s been good to us.
Be careful Southern, this door swings both ways. With the money being thrown at these players, no telling who might make a move.
KC Concepcion from NC State is a name I've seen in regards to Penn State portal WRs. He has 876 yards receiving in his freshman year, but due to NC State struggling to find a QB this year his numbers dropped significantly. Slot receiver that has a lot of elusiveness and is explosive after the catch.
The bottom line is win games and they will come...Penn State gets to the final 4 or the championship game or dare I say it win it all trust me they will come...Penn State will be the hot program and all the big names will want to jump on board...Winning solves a lot of recruiting troubles...
@the-funeral-director winning solves 99.999 of all your problems lol
It certainly keeps you in the conversation for these big name recruits...The wild card today is the NIL money as well...That Nike money is what is making Oregon relevant as I predicted...You gotta bring the money as well and I can't see any scenario where Penn State with it's huge alumni association can't compete with the money side of this equation as well...Ohio State paid that team 20 million in NIL payouts...That should give you an idea of the kind of money that is being thrown around...
From what I’ve heard Penn State is going to throw some money at the portal and go after players of need this offseason.
I will say Oregon has been relevant way before NIL started. They went to a National Championship game in 2010, and again in 2014. They won multiple PAC 12 titles before NIL started.
Just saying they should get more respect than that. NIL didn't make them relevant, they already were.
99 problems but a B*$# aint one.@the-funeral-director winning solves 99.999 of all your problems lol
@psujoe I’m willing to help chip in. I want Penn St to compete and having a chance to win the NC every year and It will take money to get it done. Its a different game today baby times are changing.
How was the recruiting class this year? Did we get what we needed? No 5* players from what I see but that doesn’t mean anything Alabama is eat up with 5* players and they lost 3 games. As long as we got what we needed.

@southern-psu-fan as I said in the post above this class is nothing to get excited about and OSU, Meatchicken and Oregon all pulled in elite level classes.
@psujoe I hate losing the 2 players to Ohio State but the 2025 class looks pretty good just not a class that has a 5*. Hopefully the transfer portal will be good to us again and we win the big 10 that should help with the 2026 class and we’ll see what happens in the playoffs because I’m feeling pretty good about the offense.

Now we need to get Zahir Mathis who I’ve heard isn’t committing till January.
