Interesting read. Basically boiled down to, he's the man given the current state of affairs; maybe that's true but when you are ponying up $6mill/year for some of the garbage that goes on with this team, something ain't right.
Now the story line is about #1 QB recruit in the country coming on board next year; well every year for the past 9 years has always been about next year. And if Allar is the #1 QB and actually stays committed, is he gonna play next year and if he does, it makes no difference if the O'line is in the same sad shape that it has been in since 1994; okay a little humor there, but nonetheless a fact. Bottom line; fix the O'line, fix the boneheaded game day coaching mistakes that us armchair coaches see before they happen, fix the D' and develop the players; Christ, if a third year 4* QB cant take the reigns from an 80% or less starter QB to start against one of the worst teams in D1, something aint't right. I think Levis bolted not because he was 2nd string but probably got the feeling or word that he was third string and/or got tired of the wild cat BS; the dude can play and shows up with that level intensity.
Damn good article!!! It seems as though it was written for Remoh to read. Do you think he'll need someone to explain the big words for him??

As is stands now it appears as though next years class will up end being somewhere around #8 which is a very good class but has a slightly higher ranking than some of the other classes JF has brought in only because of quantity not quality. 2018 and 2019 had better individual talent with higher rated prospects and were the classes that the experts online and in here said were the classes that would help JF finally challenge OSU as the kings of the B1G. And here we sit again looking forward to next year.

Has James Franklin hit his ceiling at Penn State several years ago when Trace McSorely and Saquon Barkley were in the backfield?
Unfortunately the answer is most likely “yes”.

LETS'S GO BRANDON !
And I will ask, had Saban hit his ceiling at MSU, or did his coaching and recruiting ability improve at AL and was it LSU?
@roaminglion: The dolt just keeps shooting himself in the foot. Like navylion said, "it's like shooting fish in a barrel".
And I will ask, had Saban hit his ceiling at MSU, or did his coaching and recruiting ability improve at AL and was it LSU?
The answer to that would be the same as why they say JF is the perfect fit for USC. He's hit his ceiling at PSU but if he would take the job at USC he'd be pulling in 4 and 5 star recruits from one of the most fertile recruiting areas in the country. JF will never be able to pull the talent level to PSU that he will at USC just like Saban couldn't recruit at MSU like he can at Bama.
Higher rated recruits = Higher ceiling.
JF has also allegedly gone on record as saying he wants to be the first African American head coach to win a national championship and according to that article he has no chance of doing that here. He's crazy if he doesn't go if offered.

Well we know for sure he's remoh now LOL
Probably because you've already said that to me multiple times, literally told me that in responses to multiple posts.
LMAO, the intellectual giant strikes again.

I've never called you remoh, that was Southern and others.
Keep swinging champ
The thing I disagree with is Penn State is a top 10 team all time and I love James Franklin but he’s not the only good head coach that wants to be the coach at Penn State. I was frustrated with him Saturday because I don’t believe his head was in the game. If James Franklin was at Alabama the article would say the same thing. James Franklin is hard to replace regardless where he’s at but there’s other good head coaches that would love to have the Penn St job. I do believe he might be leaving and if he does, Yurcich or Moorhead would be my picks both guys would keep the recruiting class together.
@southern-psu-fan JF definitely had that same look that he did last year when he really didn't want to be here. People in the stands noticed and let him about if after the game.
Prog
@southern-psu-fan I'm not sure that anyone's head was in the game last Sat....except for us Roundtable coaches.
