You prep hard every week for every game you have. We're not preparing hard just for Purdue. The coordinators come up with a game plan each week that's based on the opponents's strengths and weaknesses. The position coaches are the ones that make sure their players execute to the best of their abilities. 

The preparation is pretty much the same week in and week out, it's the game plan that changes.

You know it's going to be a long season again when we have to prep hard for the Purdue boilermakers. Big game on the line. 

I wonder if Michigan State and Iowa felt like they could take them easy last year, you know... because Purdue beat both when they were in the top 5.
