If we do lose Saturday we’ll drop like a rock in the polls. If Alabama wins out and beats Auburn with a backup QB will they get in over Oklahoma or Oregon? Auburn beat Oregon so does that hold any weight? Alabama will have 1 loss to #1 LSU assuming they beat Georgia so Oregon loss will be to a 4 loss Auburn team while the tides loss is to undefeated LSU. Does anybody think Oregon can beat Alabama? I don’t and this is going to be very interesting lol. man, we need to find a way to win Saturday. Will Cain be ready?
Auburn and Texas a&m get more passes for losing than any team out there lol

The question is not only will Cain be ready, but will Hamler? Can Pry get the defense straightened out? Did the OL find their moxie? Can we play ball control offense? All answers will be questioned, lol.

Not even close to the leeway ND gets. I wish I could remember the year, early 70's I think. ND lost, but stayed the same or moved up in the rankings, because they didn't lose as badly as they thought they would. It was nuts!

Alabama isn't getting in without help, they just aren't.
If we knock off OSU, will our new rank put us up high enough for CFP entry? Doubt we would go back to 4, and if everyone else in contention wins out, no PSU or the B1G for that matter.
Ohio State is a darn good team. We can help ourselves by being competitive. If we get blown out, Penn State will be laughed down to 15 or below.

If PSU wins a close game, IMHO the CFP committee will keep OSU in the top 4.

I don't agree, with a win we will pass OSU into the top 4. That said, wouldn't it be nice to settle this by winning Saturday?!? 😁
As Southern would say, Just Win Baby!
