@roaminglion I honestly believe Ohio St is better than Cincinnati and I know for a fact Alabama is. I do believe teams get better and start to click from the first and second game of the year that’s what I believe. IMO Ohio St was a much better team in week 10 than they were in week 1. In my opinion Penn St got worse as the year went and that’s why a change should’ve been made but it’s my opinion by watching the games things change as the year goes. I done told y’all I’ll change my mind in a minute if I see a reason to and in sports things change from week to week. Another thing I believe is all the conferences have a lot of work to do to catch the SEC

Yes, but no matter what you can't say you believe on the field results matter, and then imply ND is better than Cincy because "they got better"... which you stated several times. Because that means you don't care that Cincy beat them. Quite litterally that means on field results do not matter.
@roaminglion find where I ever said ND is better? I don’t have a whole lot of faith in ND. After they beat Wisconsin I thought they were better than I thought but it turned out Wisconsin wasn’t all that good.
You said, "my goodness did you see what Michigan and Cincinnati got and these 2 teams were top 4." You have been trying for months to convince people that Cincy didn't belong. You base stuff off of what you think, and say things with no fact behind them then try to defend them to the death! You just said, "any time I say something and I can’t prove anything then I mean it’s my opinion. Unless teams play it’s all options anyway."
I just laid out all the facts and you still try to skate around the facts, well if this, well if that. So in answering your question,
Yes, I did see. I saw a Cincinnati team complete in the playoffs and lose by a margin that was on par with a lot of other "Big Dawg" teams that competed in the playoff the last 8 years.
I saw a Cincinnati team who you said didn't belong, compete and lose by a hell of a lot less than some of the "Big Dawg" teams that have competed over the last 8 years.
Those are documented facts not SWAF (Southern Wild Ass Fantasy). One last thing, even though I laid out the results of every playoff game for the last 8 years you still didn't even acknowledge THE FACTS!!!
Please don't reply back with some BS well if so and so played so and so and if Saban would have taken a poop before the game the outcome would be different!! The more you do that Chit!!!! The harder it is to take what you say with any seriousness! COME ON MAN!!!!
One last thing, you also said to FD " FD, Michigan and Cincinnati got man handled ". Agai, you are trying to prove your narrative that they didn't belong. What happened to them is no different than any of the other years where your so clled "Big Dawg" teams got beat rather bad!!
@navylion I said Michigan and Cincinnati got dominated because they did. That’s what I saw
@roaminglion find where I ever said ND is better? I don’t have a whole lot of faith in ND. After they beat Wisconsin I thought they were better than I thought but it turned out Wisconsin wasn’t all that good.
"I don’t think Cincinnati can beat any team in the top 10 right now because most teams have got better since the 3rd week of the year Cincinnati not so much." - You on November 15th
ND was never outside of the top 10 of the CFP rankings, and at the time you said that they were #6 in the AP. So please, own what you said.
You said point blank on other occasions that if Cincy and ND played again, ND would win because ND "got better".
Y’all both are Nit picking because Cincinnati got dominated
@roaminglion find it and show me and I’ll own up to it.
FFS I literally just posted what you said on November 15th when Notre Dame was ranked #6. That Cincy could not beat anyone in the top 10.
I'm not playing this alternative facts crap with you
@roaminglion you’re not picking again Cincinnati got dominated by Alabama just like I said they would!
@the-funeral-director FD, Michigan and Cincinnati got man handled it wouldn’t be competitive with 16 teams brother it would be a waste of time. I know you want competition and so do I but it’s not there with 16 teams this isn’t college basketball where you have teams that could get an upset these teams like Arkansas would get the chit beat out of ‘em in a playoff and it would happen every year and then people would stop watching. When making changes these dudes don’t think about just next year they think about 10 years from now. When you get down to 4 or 8 team playoff these teams tighten their chit up and bring their A game just like NFL teams do in the playoffs. If you would’ve watched the Georgia/Michigan game you would know what I’m talking about. Like Roam said, Georgia could’ve beat Michigan worse if they wanted to the talent level was night and day and you could see it and Michigan was pretty dang good. Cincinnati couldn’t do chit on offense baby absolutely nothing on the Tides defense but Cincinnati did play pretty good on defense I’ll give ‘em that. 16 is to many maybe 12 at the most. Also money might not mean anything to the fans but it does to all the colleges that need that money to help other sports or they might have to cut out women sports all together and a few of men sports if they don’t get all that bowl money. College football is a different animal than college basketball or the smaller divisions in football. I’ll take 8 and see how that works for 10 years then look at it again to see if 16 is needed.
Don't you think that recruiting will shift a bit if they go to a 16 team format. You may see the top 5* talent spread out amongst many teams rather than like 80% of them all going to the perceived top 4 schools.
Okay so who’s your ten team PSU conference?
Just spitballing off the top of my head, but somewhat like the schedule we use to play. Pitt, Penn State, West Virginia, Maryland, Rutgers, Temple, Syracuse, Uconn, BC, Virginia Tech, Virginia, think you get the feel for what our conference would look like in my world.
@roaminglion you’re not picking again Cincinnati got dominated by Alabama just like I said they would!
Thanks for clarifying something no one was talking about.
You said Cincy COULD NOT BEAT ANYONE IN THE TOP 10 when ND was ranked #6 and they had beaten them 5 weeks previous.
Sorry, but you cant say something like that and then try to pretend that you care about on field results.
Y’all both are Nit picking because Cincinnati got dominated
Alright Dude i am done with you. Talking to you is like trying to talk to a wall. Later Man.
Change is needed.
Sorry guys I don’t know how we got back on this but I’m sure I must have said something to trigger it. When I was talking to FD I was talking about an eight team playoff vs a 16 team playoff I didn’t mean to start this up again, my bad. I believe Ohio St would’ve served the playoff better and y’all think Cincinnati would’ve and that’s fair because Cincinnati was undefeated. I don’t have a dog in the fight with any of the teams. Sorry about pressing it I can just be to competitive sometimes 😂

Yep basically what I was thinking, unfortunately that’s basically a MAC caliber conference.
@psu61 That works! Then we go to the playoff every year as the conference champs!
LOL.
@psu61 Penn St turned Ohio St into a recruiting goldmine gettin in the big 10 all these other teams like VT, Virginia WV would recruit better if they we in a conference with Penn St.
UConn just signed Jim Mora as their next head coach.
@roaminglion that’s not a bad get for UConn he will be a good coach for ‘em. As a Penn St fan I wouldn’t want him but I’d take him at GT in a minute. Penn St can do better but I don’t believe GT could.
