Maybe a 6-6 season. Could be as bad as 4-8....
Penn State's 2022 Football Schedule:
S 3 - at Purdue
S 10 - vs. Ohio
S 17 - at Auburn
S 24 - vs. Central Michigan
O 1 - vs. Ohio State
O 8 - at Michigan
O 15 - vs. Illinois
O 29 - vs. Michigan State
N 5 - at Indiana
N 12 - vs. Maryland
N 19 - vs. Minnesota
N 26 - at Rutgers
Looking forward to next year. Incoming recruits will make an immediate positive impact.
Think they need to relook at how they schedule. You ever notice that the SEC teams schedules their cupcake games late into the season, as a way to get a rest between big games and /or conference championship games. Time for OSU and Meatchicken to be scheduled weeks apart and lets throw in the patsy's later in the year, give em a breather when they truly need it.
Hell with JF's recruiting, establishing a run game and feeling good about his new contract, no reason why this team can't go 10-2. Why would anyone expect anything less?
I don't see anything on that schedule that is worse than this year.

Looks like a 6-6 season to me with probably a 2-4 start.
Prog
I see 7-5 or 8-4
@roaminglion I agree. They lose Iowa and Wisconsin and get Purdue and Minny. Meh. On paper looks like a win for PSU. Both can be dangerous but not the same brutal physicality Iowa and Wisky bring to the table. Auburn and Michigan on the road are tough. Michigan and OSU on consecutive weeks sucks. B1G schedulers would never do that to other teams. Did you guys ever see the home vs away stats for PSU in the B1G as far as scheduling goes? It’s ridiculous. PSU’s B1G opener has been on the road a crazy amount of time vs everyone else. Same thing again next year at Purdue. The B1G is still holding a grudge against PSU for joining apparently, but I’m sure they don’t deny the revenue PSU brings to the conference.
