We are getting close to kickoff!  Penn State needs to get in and out of West Lafayette with a decisive win, over at halftime, 30+ points on the board and no injuries! They are 60% favorite to win this game - not like this even means anything - and quite frankly, that is a little disappointing as far as I am concerned.  I like to think Penn State is being overlooked at this point, but then again, this is the kind of respect ( or lack of) you get when you have a season like they did last year.  If Clifford doesn't step up, look good right out of the gate, I say you pull him, take your lumps and move on to the next best option! Yes, I think this whole season rides on this kid!

Southern - I am with ya guy!  I think Cliff can have a great season.  BUT, I am only willing to give him the first quarter against Purdue.  He has enough experience and starts to be as good as anybody out there! Let's see what he does with it!

GO STATE!!!!!

Why is it disappointing? We are a 3 point favorite on the road. Need I say on a Thursday night. The bets are leaning towards Purdue and that can change at anytime.  Sean is more concerned and occupied with putting together a union. Not what we need right now.

Clifford will be ready and I just want to get out of Purdue with a win. First game on the road on Thursday night helps Purdue and it’s our defense that better shows up which I think they will. Just get the win and get some momentum going. I’ll be satisfied with a one point win but I wouldn’t be surprised if we give Purdue a beat down. We gotta start finding ways to win instead of finding ways to lose.

Penn State is not in the league of Ohio State. Other than the freak blocked kick which bounced into to the arms of a PSU player, the Buckeyes have our number.

That’s what happens when you post in the early hours. Probably was dreaming about that game.

Uh, I am almost entirely sure that both Penn State and Ohio State play in the same league, the Big Ten. Oh course I could be wrong.

LOL.Not in the same league is a colloquial saying.  I’m sure most who read the post understand my point. Anyway, Ohio State & PSU are in the same conference. Last I heard it’s the B1G.  😊

I think what he means is that they are far apart from each other looking at a competition perspective.  In other words,  out of our league.

Oh if anyone in the B10 is in OSU's league in any near term time period it is PSU.  But there is too much of a gap.
