That's great news Roam, please let us know when it happens. We can get all bended over silly football games that we don't play in and with no real impact on our lives. Our families grow and then all of the sudden perspectives change, as they should. Congratulations!!
You know it! I must say this board for the most part is a good example that we can have heated debates without turning ugly. Southern and I have been talkin all day and completely disagree, but it never devolved into a dumpster fire. Wish social media could be like that, but unfortunately everything there becomes an insult match.

You got that right! In so many ways this forum is an extension of our friendships, something I highly value. Added to that I love Penn State, Penn State sports, Penn State football, football, sports etc, etc, etc. But when I read family comments from our family of contributors it reminds me of what is important. I am having the best of my 70 years watching my two grandchildren and the absolute joy it gives my daughter and son in law. So Penn State loses a football game or 4....meh.

@roaminglion: Congrats Roam!!! As the father of 5 girls and 3 boys let me just tell ya each one's a blessing!! Here's a tip.....If ya dont have your own bathroom, I'd advise you to have one in place BEFORE your daughters start dating!! Our first three were girls and let me tell ya, Friday nites were a veritable hell at my house. And lets not even talk about their monthly visit from Aunt Flo. Not trying to scare ya....just giving you something to "shoot" for (see what I did there??)

I watch a similar show and learned that a Nittany Lion cannot close in for the kill on its prey in close yardage.
