Good luck to him, and I think the guy from Oregon would be a great pick up. From Maryland, once committed to PSU, so the relationship is there.

I've read that Dante Cephas from Kent State is visiting too

Sorta doesn't make sense to me (but who am I).  According to NFL Draft Bible, he is the 21st-ranked receiver in the class and projects as a sixth-round pick.  Anyway, wish him all the luck in the world.  We'll sure miss him.

Could be that staying another really doesn't add any value to his draft stock based on his physical tangibles and stats from the last two years. Basically saying that he is a 6th rounder regardless. Might as well take the chance now, a year younger and not risk injury in Spring ball or next season. Get the paycheck in hand and then go play ball at this point. Just a thought.

A lot of chatter that Cephas will commit before the weekend is over. He’d be a great get but we need to add some height , most of our receiver are on the smallish side and Cephas is too.

@sky  and college football is still just as fun and it makes it interesting. It’s like recruiting happens 2 times a year. I do think that if a kid gets in the portal he shouldn’t be able to transfer to a school in the same conference. Just my opinion though

I look at it this way:  portal= free agency & NIL= signing bonus.

@rip lol Or PW know he's not going to get taller or much faster. so why not get paid for playing ball, even if he is a lower round pick?

You're right there BT.  I guess even practice team salaries aren't all that bad!

@rip To the tune of $11,500 a week. I might be able to live on that, if I tighten my belt a bit. lol Not that my body could take that kind of beating anymore. Hell, I can't sit down or stand up w/o making my own sound effects.

I'm in the same boat, BT.  I get up in the morning feeling like I practiced, but I can't find the $11,500!
