Shoulda juked to right then ran like hell to the left. And then put his foot up #53’s ass while he was standing there like a simple FH.

@psu61

That is not exactly what I said.  I said we didn't lose the 4 games because of the Oline.  Penn State could have won every game with the current Oline they have if the coaches made better decisions.  If the Oline was good, THEN the bad decisions made by the coaching staff wouldn't have come into play.

I totally agree our Oline is horrible. But that's not why they lost the 4 games like they did.....IMO.  Down 4 against Mich and you throw 2 passes, two of the MOST difficult passes and neither were to your STAR receiver? 3 TO's and 3 minutes on the clock and that series was the best you could come up with?

B'OB had 50 sec's, NO TO's, Fr QB and went the length of the field against Mich.....giving ALL of his receivers a chance to make the big plays.  Some were 50/50....but JF two passes were 10/90!

It’s all good MNL, just funnin. Yes it’s a frustrating team, coaching staff and all the stuff that comes with it. Hopefully new leadership will right the ship before we all get to old to not care.

someone mentioned how the bantering goes on this board and I agree, all in good spirit!

It's even worse when you watch the video of the play. Not sure what kind of block Walker was attempting but it was pretty pathetic.

I say some dumb things on this board, so I never take ANYTHING seriously or personal...ever! LOl

I hate to keep harping on JF, I think he has done a lot of good for Penn State, but there is just a point when has to start winning the big games or he will never get to where he wants to go with this program. I truly believe he went backwards this year.

Last year was tough all around, I thought he did a good job at the end of last year, getting players a lot of game time experience and finished 4-0. Came out of the shoot 5-0 to start, wasn't ALL that pretty at times and then came Iowa. He got sideways went Clifford got hurt and he has YET to bring this team back under control.  Even with the Oline play, I still think a good coach would be sitting at 9-1 at worse. And we can discuss why I say that some other time, but for the most part, I just don't think he can react on his feet in the middle of a game like some of the REALLY good coaches can.

I am not suggesting Moorehead should be our HC.  However, Oregon got sideways a little last Saturday night. Up 14 -0, they let Washington back in the game and it was 14-14 at the half.  He never took his foot off the pedal in the second half, Washington kept coming and he kept playing aggressively throwing the ball down field to his best receivers! Oregon has a running game that we don't, that did help, but he didn't rely on his defense to close the game.....he kept scoring and playing like he was behind.  This is not a JF trait!!

GO STATE!!!

53 looks pretty relaxed in the picture.  Maybe he thinks it was screen blocking and he is bipolar, I mean split personality, and is now the receiver?
