Granville out for the year and we were already lacking depth and experience at DE. That one hurts.

After winning the first 12-team College Football Playoff and a national title as an at-large selection in 2024, Ohio State coach Ryan Day would like to see future models include at least four automatic qualifying spots for the expanded Big Ten.

As college football leaders discuss the next version of the CFP, beginning with the 2026 season, there has been recent pushback against templates that include more automatic spots for the Big Ten and the SEC.

@rip  talking about ouch lol

Claudia Wilken, a federal judge in California, approved a settlement Friday between the NCAA and athlete plaintiffs that established a revenue sharing system that allows athletic departments to pay out about $20.5 million directly to their players. The agreement lasts 10 years, and the money is expected to increase annually.

While college athletes have been taking in outside payments for their name, image and likeness, the so-called House settlement allows it to come from school coffers (media rights, ticket sales, etc.). What was once mostly unregulated is now mostly regulated.

I think it's fine here.  "Ouch" describes it perfectly!

Speaking of money, “ouch” is most likely what anyone looking to buy tickets for the whiteout will be saying. They’re a little on the expensive side.

@psujoe  I thought I read where former players will be getting millions or billions of money on back pay. I believe what I read said the schools might be paying this. This has a bad ending if I read everything correctly.

My sisters husband gets our tickets through his place of employment for dirt cheap but I can imagine it would cost a small family of 3 or 4  who doesn’t live in the area thousands to spend a couple days in SC and attend this game.

Better get up here for a game soon SPF, ticket prices aren't gonna get cheaper. It's like that waterfront property that's "too expensive" now, that you should have bought when it was cheap years ago. Trouble is, we tend to forget it was too expensive years ago too, that's why we didn't buy it back then.

@been-there-ii  I know that’s right brother I gotta get my butt up there. Man after getting all these grandkids we have now we don’t have much time for anything. I had my whole family plus my mother and father in law down in Panama City for 8 days and we had a blast. I’m a blessed man baby. My son definitely wants to come up for a game we just ain’t had the time and it’s hard getting everybody on the same page. How’s everything with your garden I hope it’s good?

@southern-psu-fan The big, furry, garden piranha took out all the chard, peas, favas, romaine and 1/2 the beets form the early sowing. Irish Springed the asparagus patch, that lasted for a week & now that's mowed off again too. lol And don't get me started on the damage to my orchard!

Hope you guys don't mind if I chime in.  Feel your pain, BT.  Can't grow a thing around here thanks to the deer, squirrels & occasional

bear!
