@roaminglion  I thought the safeties did a great job this year and I am glad Pry left to give somebody else a chance because I know what we got with Brent Pry and that’s giving up leads late in the game, not getting off the field on 3rd downs and putting the offense in bad field position. Since James Franklin is staying I don’t want to turn the defense upside down with changes but we need new blood at DC and I believe poindexter can get the job done. 11-10 the last 2 years Roam you gotta try something new or it’s definitely goi g to get worse. I’m good with bringing in somebody if that’s what James Franklin decides to do.

I’m not saying pry was a garbage DC he just struggled to get the guys off the field on 3rd downs and we give up the lead in quite a few games because we couldn’t get the stop late in the game that cost us wins. 11-10 last 2 years losing 3 games this year when we were leading late in the 4th. Last year was a disaster on defense Maryland blew us out and Indiana beat us on the last play of the game with 2 NFL DE’s on the field. Lost to Illinois this year in OT to a chit team like Illinois playing with a backup QB and RB. Did you hear the teams I said that beat us in crunch time Illinois and Indiana and we got blown out by Maryland. All 3 of these teams stink!
