Should Georgia, Cincy, Michigan, and Oklahoma State win their conference title games, those are your CFP teams. Georgia would play Oklahoma State, and Michigan would play Cincy.

Notre Dame would be left out, I believe Oklahoma State would vault them after 2 straight victories over top 10 teams.

That is the way it should go. Alabama beating Georgia would be interesting.

Dang Oregon blew the chaos I was hoping for now the only hope I have is Alabama knocking off the dawgs in a thriller in the SEC championship game. You can’t depend on the PAC for nothing lol. If Oklahoma State wins their conference I believe they’ll jump them to #3 and Cincinnati will be 4Th assuming Georgia gives the Tide a butt kicking but if the Tide gives Georgia all they can handle and loses you never know what the committee will do. Slick Nic struggles playing at Auburn that’s why he now has a 4-4 record down there it’s a tough place for Alabama to win.

Thing is, Saban does win at Auburn.

If anything, it's a different CFP look unlike last few years with the usual suspects. I will be rooting for Cincy. I like Fickell and can respect what he has done with 3 *'s and transfers. I can also appreciate his loyalty to Cincy, very Joe Paterno-esque. After that it's Oklahoma State if they get there. Who would have ever them in the mix?

@lakerie  I’m not big on the ACC this year and that’s what ND has beat up on and a bad USC team. I still have Ohio St at #4 in my top 5 because I don’t believe Cincinnati, Oklahoma St, Baylor or ND can beat ‘em, it’s that simple for me.

@southern-psu-fan  Southern, I hate the idea of Ohio State still having a shot to a CFP depending on who loses their conference championship. That just seems very Ohio State like, what OSU wants, OSU gets. I do like the idea of uncommon and underdog teams playing for a NC. Deep down I don't see Cincy winning a NC, for that matter, they still have to play a highly motivated and talented Houston.

@lakerie  you know I can’t stand Ohio St but this committee says it’s about the 4 best teams that’s why I have Ohio St 4th. I’m just ranking the teams on who I think is the best and I don’t see Cincinnati beating any team I have in my top 5 especially my top 4. I’m good with it if they get in, I don’t have a dog in the fight I just don’t believe they are a top 5 team. We need an eight team playoff system to stop all this guessing crap 😂

I don't see how you can keep OSU at #4. They were destroyed by Michigan and tested by a lousy PSU team at the shoe. They lost their first regular season game and their last regular season game and in between beat up on mediocre B10 teams. They are good but not elite.

@lakerie exactly Lake, Southern always talks about winning is everything and that's what matters but, then he has the supposed top 5's which go against what he preaches!! The only thing The OSU is out of is THE top 4 playoff conversation!!

@southern-psu-fan

 I know exactly what the committee would do if Alabama loses to Georgia in a tight game... Alabama will not make the playoff unless 2 of Cincy, Michigan, or Oklahoma State lose.

An undefeated Cincy or 1 loss ND, Michigan, and Oklahoma State would all get in ahead of the Tide.

I've had enough of this SEC nonsense. It's never happened before and it wouldn't happen this year either. (A 2 loss non champ getting in over 1 loss champ)
