I'm not much of an NBA fan but always thought Shaq was a class guy. I remember when he first came into the league I thought he might be the guy that breaks Wilt the Stilt's all time single game scoring record.

@forum-titan Right, not a great moment in Shaq's life. This happened in 2014 and it appears he apologized hopfully learning and becoming better. I firmly believe we learn as much from our mistakes.

Absolutely.  We learn from mistakes. 

@lakerie: well said. It's easy to dwell on the negatives and overlook the positves. 

I have to hand it to Shaq, he made a mistake, owned up to it, and righted the wrong.

Not all of us can say that.
