Man, I thought Northwestern was getting a really good QB when Hunter Johnson transfered from Clemson to the Wildcats. He was a 5 star recruit, and the #2 rated Pro-Style QB in 2017. But he is AWFUL. He's been super bad this year, and I think is only starting because someone else got injured.
Sean Clifford was a Pro-Style QB in the same class, I believe down at #8 and not nearly as talked about as Hunter. Just goes to show you that stars aren't everything, but I am surprised at how bad a former 5* recruit is playing. Seriously, he looks completely lost
Line receivers and coaches matter also. PSU should have better.
Stars don’t tell the entire story. Some guys get better and some guys were ranked too high. Stars don’t account for heart.
