What is amazing to me is getting 2 of the top 4 RBs in the class and having the depth to possibly redshirt both of them.

Add to it the QBs... it is unreal how stacked our backfield is when you consider Stevens and Clifford at QB with two 4* QBs signing today as well

Yes indeed Southern, for a position that seemed thin at the start of this year LB looks to be a strength the next few years especially with the 2 studs signing today.

Starting to sound just like  every other year of recruiting.  "We are stacked".  Lol... But yet after losing to teams like MSU, OSU and Michigan we tend to pull out the good ole "sanctions" card. When you get a chance please look at the 2019 schedule, it's hilarious.  Will not see a decent matchup until October 12th.

Yeah Roam, I knew Cain was trending PSU but oh man 2 top 100 RB's in the same class looks like Georgia recruiting. Like you mentioned, it looks like QB battle is going to be very interesting also with 2 top dual threats now.

Don't get your Hopes to high. 2019 will be no different than this season .

I said we are stacked at two positions, not that our entire team is stacked. Learn to read.

Also, everyone is done with the sanctions discussions. It has been said many times by those speaking of sanctions that by 2019 the roster would be fully recovered. I can't think of anyone on this forum who said otherwise.

Snakeoil, why keep making posts like this when it only shows you're eating sour grapes? Who knows how 2019 will be but point and fact of the matter is that Penn State is recruiting at a high level and building quality depth. If this trend continues and there is no reason that it shouldn't, it shows the future of the program is very bright. Actually the current state of the program hasn't been too shabby either much to your dismay. Are you still a Rutgers fan?

If Sanders stays I’m sure one of ‘em will redshirt or can we use them on punt and kick returners?

I agree Roam this is the year we are back to a 100% and I say a 100% ONLY because of the great job James Franklin has done in recruiting. I’m really looking forward to the spring game to watch Stevens get the first team snaps that’s if he wins the job which I think he will. 2017 and 2018 spring games we knew who the QB was but not this year so that should make it an exciting spring game. But let’s take care of Kentucky first with some unfinished business lol

Nice seeing these "skill position" players coming to Penn State.  For me to be really happy, I still need to see more highly rated "BigBoys" to man both sides of the line.  The trenches are where games are won or lost.  a 3* running back will run for miles behind a 4* & 5* line, but a 5* RB running behind a weak line is like putting a governor  on a Ferrari.  So from now till Feb signing date, I'd like to see the BEEF.

We hopefully have two very good DTs who will sign later on in Ellies & Harrison-Hunte, another DE in Vilbert, and perhaps a OG if we can flip Nester (apparently he is rethinking his OSU commitment)

That said, we did pick up three 4* OLs today, and two 4* DEs. If we can get the two DTs I mentioned above it would be a great haul for both lines this year.

Good start for sure Roam - not sure who's rating site is the top dog, cause I've seen Ford listed as a 5* on one site, but when they list the 18 that signed, they show him as 4*.  Either way, good gets, imagine a whole roster of 4* & 5* players, we might have to start calling this place Thee Penn State University.

Yeah, I always go with 247's composite score... It takes the scores from the top recruiting sites and averages them out.
