Time will tell. Oregon & Stanford are the two most desirable teams left in the Pac12. Oregon for the connection to Nike & Stanford being an elite academic institution. ND speaks for itself. The way things are going, ND will have to join a conference. Syracuse is not as likely as other schools but an upstate New York location may make a difference. The Orange also have a lot of wealthy alumni who control the NY media market.
Anyway, I think college football is heading in the wrong direction.
I woukd think Washington would be more desirable than Oregon. Huge TV market, more history, and better res3arch and academics. Nike isnt that big of a deal, the Big Ten already has plenty of business with them.
Good points. For sure, the B1G is looking for 4 more schools to hit the magic number 20.
Neither Oregon or Washington are desirable IMO. We’ve got the 2 big dogs from the conference and if there will be more expansion it’s time to look elsewhere. Miami, FSU and Clemson would be who I’m talking to.

1) He didn't say anything derogatory about PSU football or pretend to be a PSU fan while giving PSU backhanded compliments.
2) He's been around for a few years and hasn't posted often, unlike you switching nics to try to cover your tracks.
3) For what it's worth, I was interested in knowing if the trout were still biting, 'cause I used to fish brookies & native browns in some of Kettle Creek tribs.

@forum-titan: I wonder how all these additions would impact wrestling?? It might be good for football no doubt. Could you imagine a wrestling conference with UNC,Stanford, ISU,OSU that include all of the B1G teams?? That would pretty much spell an end to the championships; and that would be a shame.
Why not say ta hell with the conferences and everybody go independent??

Never thought of wrestling due to the fact that I don't follow wrestling. I see your point though. The trickle down effect? Is that what mean? Everyone independent? Like create your schedule each year?

The fallout is not going to be pretty. Because all wrestling teams operate at a deficit, and only a few have significant fan bases, the leaders in college sports are not concerned about wrestling. 😡
