Chris Beatty Terps recv coach would be an interesting choice. Franklin hired him at Vandy in 2011 but left a year later for Beckman at the Illini. On the downside, (other than working for Beckman) he's  a coach that had a history of moving on after a year or two (not unlike others). However,  he does have some decent creds. Former record setting recv in college. Successful HS  coach.  Never made it to the NFL but did play in the CFL.

Michael Johnson Sr’s name has been brought up as well. He has ties to Franklin and his son is a new QB on our roster. He has spent the last few years as Oregon.

I said a week ago, Michael Johnson Sr.  Take it to the bank!  But of course maybe that's why I'm always broke.

"I'd by that for a dollar!"

Excellent Robocop reference.

Not sure I like coach Johnson and son in this situation.  Could be interesting to see who gets credit for the incomplete pass  in coach Johnson's eyes.  Maybe I'm not giving the coach enough credit, but we'll see.
