Apparently, he's run a 22.4 200m, a 10.8 100m, and a sub 4.4 40 time.
That's not top end speed, but still fast... However, a sub 4.4 out of high school is QUICK. Seems like he's very explosive from a standstill.

Not bad at all! In fact I think he fits in nicely with the 2 entrenched starters... definitely a change of pace back, like a Darren Sproles scat back type. Never a bad thing to have on the roster, even for scout team duties.
He's from Louisiana, so he must have SEC speed! Also seems to have pretty good vision running in, around and through traffic.

I don’t think anyone is gullible PSUJoe. The only outlandish statement was from FT (aka pic your nic) and that was only to get a reaction. Nobody is jumping the depth chart ahead of the superior talent we have right now. However, this depth chart isn’t very deep at the moment so it doesn’t hurt to add a little speed to it.
@psuinhawaii The UGA QB Bennett was a walk-on that was told he was not good enough to play. James Franklin took him for a reason.

Stetson Bennett was a walk on and just won his 2nd NC as starting QB.
No one thinks this kid is stepping in to start, but it doesnt mean he's not good either.
