Personally I'm glad that some sports is back. I never could stand watching MLB, just too boring for me but I'm sure many are happy with it. Basketball seems to be picking up again, which is nice. For me, MLS is back and I am having fun watching my Portland Timbers make their way to the finals of the current tournament.
Racing is still fun for me especially when my man #2 wins which is what happened this past weekend 😁 but as much as I love racing that can take a hike when it come to Penn State football and I’ll it that any way I can get it even if it’s watching practice.
I'm not a big NASCAR fan in respect of watching the race, but I've gone to the track twice and had a ton of fun. Lots of really nice people and it was basically a full day tailgate 🙂
@roaminglion I'm with ya on TV baseball, but attend in person, have a few beers, it isn't so bad. Used to take the boys to watch the local farm teams. Which is actually way more fun, no need to get bored to death by watching a no hitter game. lol Yes, I know it's damn tough to pitch a no hitter, but it is awful boring to watch.

Yeah you're right, I will admit it is a lot of fun to go to the game with some buds. Some of my fondest memories were baseball games with my dad. I could never really get into the game on TV though.
Played baseball in my younger years, but could never get into watching it, especially on TV. This discussion brings back memories of my favorite moment in the OJ trial. It's a long time ago, but to the best of my recollection: An Englishman who sat next to OJ on an airline flight right after Nicole's demise testified OJ was acting normally and didn't seem anxious or edgy. During cross-examination, the DA asked the Englishman if he was a fan of football (trying to show he was prejudiced toward OJ since he was a former football star). The Englishman replied " I don't care for American football. I'm a soccer fan. Personally, I find football boring!". Judge Ito dead-panned "Wait until you see baseball!". 🤣 🤣 🤣
@rip
mid rather watch football on tv regardless if it’s college or the NFL but I’d rather watch high school football at the stadiums but watch a race at the race track is as good as it gets especially Talladega it’s so awesome bob. Tv doesn’t give racing justice not even close. Roam, didn’t you say you enjoyed the race and you’re not a big race fan? What nascar race did you see live?
Roam, does your momma still live in South Carolina? The Darlington Southern 500 is one of the best races out there if you ever have a chance to go. It’s a Saturday night race with a 3 day weekend also
Southern, I live about a 45 min. drive from Pocono Raceway and would you believe I've never gone to a race. One of these years I promise myself I'll go. Guess I better hurry up though, at my age I don't have many years left!
