Most of the viewing nation will be watching Ala-Aub, Minn-Wisc or ND at that time slot and will only see the score. If we let Rutgers hang around for a half or keep the final score close, it gives the impression that Minn (42-7) and Mich (52-0) are better teams.

Yes, this is a great opportunity for a major beatdown.  It will be great for the coaches,  players and fans to release their frustrations after last week's loss and the the loss to the gophers.

Exactly the way I see it, take the loss out on the next team you play!

It's not like we need to beat them bad for recruiting reasons.  30 is enough and I'd be disappointed if our second team couldn't beat them by 21.  The only way it is close is if they get every interference call like MN did 🙄

It is more important that UM Loses.  A resurgent UM makes the B10 East the indisputable best conference in football for the foreseable future.  Especially if you rotate a MD of MSU in as a 4th top 20 team.

The biggest news coming out of Rutgers in the near term will be the new coach.
