I think we're both using the word acceptable differently... I'm saying some 3rd & 10's are acceptable (as fans, not coaches) looking back at the game, because they happen. They happen to every team. No team in history went without getting into a 3rd & 10 at some point against a bad team. If you want to harp on it as a fan, fine.
What I didn't say was the team and coaches should just "accept" 3rd & 10's will happen and not try and get better. I would have thought that would be obvious... but I guess not?
