Media stories beginning to swirl about MSU. I've never seen such poor football. They looked flat out putrid today. Just horrible. Tried 3 QB's, couldn't catch the ball if they tried. Overthrow, underthrown, dropped catches. Just unbelievable.
When Michigan and Penn State are playing big dawg football teams like Michigan State take a back seat in recruiting something I told everybody when James Franklin got the Penn State job. Michigan State is a 7-5 football team but that doesn’t mean they can’t sneak up and win a few more games every now and then.
I find it hallairious that this guy needs to start a topic on MSU to make himself feel better. LOL
Agree Southern MSU will always be a dangerous team I think what we saw is the tied turning and PSU getting over some major humps.

I'm sure you are aware of how pathetic that post looks...right?
They were pretty bad from a independent perspective. It looked like both MSU and ND didn't appreciate the weather and just put in the time in the second half. We just accepted it and took our foot off the gas. Michigan, on the other hand, wanted to beat somebody up.
If I were a MSU fan I wouldn't feel like the team is bad so much as they quit. The QB had a bad day as opposed to the awesome day he had against us last year. They didn't 'Try 3 QB's' yes 3 played but it was mop up, get them some time, they'd long quit trying.
But good teams make you look bad and the PSU defense can make people look bad.
Both Michigan State and ND were overmatched. Bottom line is the beast of the East is Roaring again!
NO NO NO Southern...Your rankings say otherwise...It's Bama baby and LSU and every other horsehockey team from the SEC and Clemson...The whole thing is a joke...
I’ve got Ohio State 3rd and is 4th and Clemson 5th FD. In a 150 years Ohio st has 1 good win against the SEC and 11 or 12 losses some Of those losses getting demolished and the last time Ohio State lined up against Clemson they got drilled 31-0 so I think 3rd is being very generous?
Stop it Southern with the 20 years, 50 years and all the other nonsense...The last time Ohio State played Bama they beat em...that was 2015...In the CFP...The year Clemson beat em they didn't belong there...The players from those teams are long gone...How is it a win by these sacred cows is viewed differently then when other teams beat the same teams and beat them down worse? They play with themselves...Who is LSU's big win against? oh yeah...a 3 loss Texas team who isn't even in the top 20 now...Of course when they played LSU they were artificially ranked 8th or something crazy...How bout Georgia? They were lucky to hold on to win that game against Notre Dame in their own building...Michigan destroys them and yet Georgia is still in the top 10? How are undefeated teams in power 5 conferences not in the top 10? I don't wanna hear any of the pablum about they haven't played anybody etc. etc. etc...Who have these other teams played except with themselves? Like I said by your logic Ohio State should get the nod over Bama cause the last time they played Ohio State beat them in 2015 which is a heck of a lot more recent then the other nonsense you sight...Logic says the B1G eastern division is the toughest division in college football...Has been for the last few years...To keep out the best team from that division is absolutely ridiculous...Now the garbage being spewed is how great LSU and Bama are...I mean they are playing a gauntlet of a schedule...LOL...Put them in the B1G eastern division and they lose 2 games minimum and maybe 3 depending on who and where they draw their western teams...It's a joke...
LSU beat Texas, Florida and Auburn.
clemson and Ohio st both had 1 loss and Clemson destroyed Ohio st plus Ohio st was the team the committee picked. Florida drilled Michigan in a bowl game this past year. All I can go by is what happens 99.9% of the time when Ohio st plays Clemson or the SEC teams because it was done on the field. What else am I supposed to judge on?

FD... using your own logic we will be playing an artificially inflated Minnesota team in 2 weeks. They have played absolutely no one, and in the beginning of the year barely held on in games against FCS Mountain West, Sun Belt teams.
Georgia Southern is literally the only team above .500 that they have played at 4-3. Yet they will probably be ranked #12 or higher when we play them.
Sop stop acting like the SEC is the only conference that benefits from inflated rankings of teams, because if we beat Minnesota it's going to be viewed as a big-time win for us over a highly-ranked team.
How many teams does the SEC have in the top 11 again? I believe that number is 5...Until a power 5 teams loses they should always be ranked ahead of a 1 or 2 loss team...You drop em after they lose... Not before....The games have to matter...5 SEC teams in the top 11? Give me an effin break.. .
They have five in the top 11, we have six in the top 18. What is your point?
After next weekend they will not have 5 in the top 11 either.
As for this asinine M"destroyed Notre Dame and Georgia only barely beat them" argument... Well, Wisconsin lost to Illinois and Michigan beat Illinois. So that tells you about jack, because Wisconsin destroyed Michigan.
A win is a win, stop invalidating them because it doesn't fit your narrative.
And a loss is a loss... And 2 losses is 2 losses...When u lose u go to the back of the line...Teams that are undefeated go to the front of the line... If and when they lose then u drop em down... 2 loss teams ranked ahead of undefeated teams? Give me a break...

Sorry, but I don't consider beating a bunch of sub .500 teams impressive or something that should be rewarded. You may feel Appalachian State or SMU should be ranked #6, but I don't.
Schedule strength does mean something, if it didn't you might as well just join the MAC and run the table.

The game against the Golden Gophers will reveal a lot about the team from Minnesota and our guys from Happy Valley.
