That’s really sad, big day for this kid and she shows her butt! Now if she’s paying out of her pocket that’s different but this kid earned a scholarship. Or am I missing something?
His mom is completely classless.
Obviously, we don’t know the whole story, but how can you not feel bad for the kid. He was clearly upset by her actions
I don't care what the story is, it is your kid. It is his day, and you show him up of national TV?
She's a punk. Swallow your damn pride and act happy for your son.
That’s exactly the way I see it Roam.
Couldn't agree more with all of you. Actually I've never have seen anything like that and hope I never do again. The young mam was embarrassed and hurt by her selfish actions.
Yeah, she should've grinned and beared it but ... he could've given Mom a heads up on which way he was leaning, couldn't he?
If I wasn't a 1/2 star prospect, I'd have.
We really don't know the rest of the story but clearly, the mom was taken by surprise by her son's pick!
When mom was interviewed she later went on to say she thought her son said Pitt (not Florida).
Ok, but it's interesting that she was wearing an Alabama shirt.
His mom knew he was agonizing over it, he said as much on Twitter the night before. He stated he was still conflicted about it, and afterwards said "can't go with my mom, have to go with my heart"
Mom is a punk.
Pitt--------Florida.......Yeah, that happens to me all the time too.
I have a better word for her, But I don't want to scratch this shiny new website
I’m calling BS on her reply. He picked up a FL hat. There wasn’t a Pitt hat in sight...couldn’t have been because he’s higher than a 2-Star.
And Tennessee hat
Tim, the Pitt thing didn’t happen. I was being kidding/snarky towards Pitt.
Hey lake, how's the ceiling project going? Is paint the answer?
Aaarg! Thanks for asking. Although I got the “popcorn “ bumps knocked off I’m still getting scaling and an uneven surface. I asked a friend who sells paint for PPG and he thinks the contractor took a shortcut by mixing the paint with the compound before blowing the popcorn texture and that’s why I’m getting this result. From here I will do some sanding, prime it and at least 2 coats of paint. Do you have any suggestions?
Sorry, no good suggestion, just a "Good friggin' Luck!" Doesn't sound like any kind of fun.
