You may have heard yesterday that Michigan reversed course and accepted the suspension of Harbaugh in return for the Big Ten not investigating further. It's not the "slap on the wrist" you think... Michigan is now terrified.
They fired an assistant coach this morning, and now news has broke that the NCAA has evidence an assistant coach tried to destroy evidence. They also apparently have evidence that Michigan boosters were involved/funding the sign stealing scheme.
Michigan went from a defiant alpha to scared cub in a day. The NCAA can bring the hammer down on them and they know there's nothing they could do about it. So now they want to play nice.
I hope the NCAA lowers the boom on them...This is probably the worst thing I have seen as far as cheating goes in sports and I am going to tell you why...Player safety was at stake here...I wonder how many of these athletes on the other team were injured as a result of this...This type of thing goes at the heart of sport and competition...If any infraction deserves to penalized it is something like this because player safety was at risk as a result of this...
Death penalty would be appropriate, but it ain't gonna happen. After all, it is Meatchicken!
What we all should be pissed about is the big 10 west, it’s a joke. Big 10 conference didn’t want the winner of the east to have any competition. It’s more of a disgrace to me than the Michigan thing going on. Thank goodness this garbage is over after this year.

@roaminglion Roam, it’s sports talk fun you’re taking it to seriously lol but fixing the big 10 championship game to where Ohio St doesn’t have much competition is pathetic. The big 10 knows Ohio St gets the best players so they knew exactly what they were doing.

Thanks for the information. I was thinking that the "Harbaugh Ban" was a way for the Big 10 to motivate their golden child but maybe the Big 10 knew what was coming and tried to protect their golden child with the "Harbaugh Ban". Or maybe my severe dislike for the Big 10 has clouded my judgement .......... Michigan really did like playing the victim card.

Agree with several points. Living in Columbus I see things many don’t. After 30 years here you get a pretty good feel for the nuances. I’ll say it again…..it’s the big 2 and tiny 9,12,16 ….whatever. PSU Justly gets nailed for Sandusky. O$U continues to try to buy their way out of the Dr Strauss abuse scandal. Where is the ncaa ( no I won’t capitalize it ) on that, where is the ex FBI agent, etc. the college game is all about $$$$. To me the last vestige is Army- Navy.
The NCAA and Big Ten are exactly where they should be on the OSU scandal... out of it. We were first, so we got hammered. Later lawsuits and court cases proved thr NCAA and Big Ten had no business sanctioning us... as it was a University issue not an athletic issue. I don't know what everyone wants now, the NCAA to do it again when thry know it wont work now and they shouldnt have the first time? Just to be fair?
Just read Harbaugh will be credited with wins while being suspended.
His wins will be taken away soon enough
