read an article on pennlive and McSorely is getting a whole lot of love. Is it safe to say McSorely is the best QB to ever play at penn st? Personally I think MROB is but that’s just my opinion but if you look at the numbers  McSorley will be hard to beat? BTW man ain’t time flying by because this will be his SR year, man time is flying by, it always does when you’re having fun baby lol, and we’ve had a whole lot of fun the last 3 years baby!

MRob has to be behind Kerry Collins.  There's no way you could argue that Larry Johnson is great because he proved it in the NFL, and then say MRob is better than Kerry Collins... who went on to throw for over 41,000 yards in the NFL.  One proved it in the NFL, the other played fullback in the NFL.  ROTFLMAO

Just playin with you a bit Southern...

IMO if McSorley has a season like last year or better, he's #1 on the list... and it's not even close.  No other QB in Penn State history would have done what he did here on such a consistent basis.  Barring injury or complete collapse, he would hold every major passing record on PSU's list.  BY A LOT.

My bet is when next year is over, Trace will own the top 3 spots for passing yards in a single season, the top  spots for passing TDs in a single season, the career passing yards record by over 3000 yards, and the career TD record by over 30 TDs.  The kid, quite simply, has obliterated every meaningful passing record at Penn State.  Not just beat them, destroyed them.

Lol, yeah I was just saying if I picked one I’d pick MROB, he was a different kind of beast, his style of QB play won’t work in the NFL but for college he was fun to watch. I agree with you about McSorely. Man the QB position has changed the last 15 or so years, the NFL scouts have their work cut out for ‘em.

McSorley will be interesting, if he has a great season this year I think he definitely gets drafted...  but how high?  Maybe round 3?

It's a fun conversation to have but it's hard to compare QB's from different eras. There was a time when we didnt play as many games and bowl stats didnt count. But in saying all that, Id put Trace near the top.
