I have Penn State dropping back to #10 in the playoff rankings. It kills me that Georgia will probably move up to #4 with a loss to S Carolina, but that doesn't mean anything with 3 weeks to go and then the championship week. The same goes with the Sooner's. I think Iowa will take out Minny next week, but I would like for Minny to win in hopes that Penn State can win out and get another crack at them.
In 2016, Penn State won the Big10 but had two losses and Ohio State got the nod...still don't agree with that. Penn State came in at #5. They win out this time and ONLY have 1 loss, they will get the nod and it will be an ACC team ( assuming Clemson wins out), SEC team, Big 10 and Big 12. Nothing against the Pac 12, but their conference doesn't measure up this year. They will also not put two teams in from the SEC this year. If Clemson should lose one game, then I would say the PAC 12 is in.
With that said, I look for Penn State vs Ohio State to be much closer than most think. I tink it is going to be a high scoring game and it is going to come down to whether or not Penn State's defense can hold Ohio State to no more than 30 points. If Penn State stayed undefeated up to this game, I think they would have lost by 21. But having a blemish now, I think Penn State will let it all hang out and this game is a close one!
GO STATE!
Simple fact is we still control our own destiny
I have Penn State playing Indiana next Saturday.
Indiana will be without their freshman sensation qb Michael Pennix next week but will have backup Peyton Ramsey who has played a lot of games. I’m really not sure what this says about how things will go for us as often times when given the opportunity, the backup qb plays like Tom Brady. Fortunately the game is at Penn State so I’m hoping for NO hangover.
